Not like FoSBST. Send and send repeated feedbacks, NOTHING done.Originally posted by TIB744U:Hey there everyone!
Well... Joining Friends of SMRT is of course worth itSome of the feedbacks made by us were turned into action
Why downgrade? I just simply love TIB744U!Though TIB822C's good
Common la,In SG mostly are "NATO"=No Action,Talk Only!Originally posted by SBS9818A:Not like FoSBST. Send and send repeated feedbacks, NOTHING done.
My sentiments exactly!Originally posted by BlessingSatan:Common la,In SG mostly are "NATO"=No Action,Talk Only!
I do agree with you...but in a fast paced world like Singapore, receiving replies late is quite annoyingOriginally posted by BlessingSatan:Obvious reasons is that SBST had a traits that they will analyst every matters seriously before they make the final decisions. One reasons that about the late replies is that they must go through almost and get every sections approvals and feedbacks as their operations are quite huge compared to TIBS.This does not mean i'm emphasizing that SBST are the one that i'm siding,But after several talks with some Admin personnels i do understands the real situation.Anyway thay can't please everybody right?Ok,About the NEL issues,To be frank the withdrawal of certain services are not solely by their decision.Other Authorities are also involved in this issues.Hopefully some of us will understands this
P/S:I do not intend to comment this to flame anybody,Just my humble knowledges only.
Peace
The problem is they have too much red tape even within the company! I'm not talking about NEL issues, but about basic issues like overcrowding.Originally posted by BlessingSatan:Obvious reasons is that SBST had a traits that they will analyst every matters seriously before they make the final decisions.

I understand and actually the threads are for all to see not just one person lah Friend.(That's why i didn't quote)Originally posted by SBS9818A:The problem is they have too much red tape even within the company! I'm not talking about NEL issues, but about basic issues like overcrowding.
Gee,ThanksOriginally posted by Airbus330Captain:Hey good luck to your bus career. Hope to meet up with you one day in your 9800 bus hopefully ?Any idea what bus will be used for training ? Mercedes most likely right?
That's quite true but they can actually avoid doing illogical things like dumping all the single-decks on a service with high pax demand during peak hours!Originally posted by BlessingSatan:I understand and actually the threads are for all to see not just one person lah Friend.(That's why i didn't quote)
Overcrowding is common in Public Transportation lines and believe me sometimes things can get out of their hands and sometimes it is unpredictable when on peak hours they deployed DDs but the capacity are not even 3/4 full.As a matter of facts,Public Transportation jobs are not that easy that we think,Imagine the Traffic situations,The Passenger attitudes,The valid complains,The demands.Of course i knew that SG is a fast pace country,But even the best transportation industries will faced similiar problems.Just look at MRT,Sometimes peoples will complain that they can't even squeeze in especially during peak hours. The only practical thing they(SBST & TIBS) can do is lower the frequencies & deploy more buses especially on peak hours but that depends on the traffic situations too.Come on guys,They are not super humans.Just be grateful that SG transportation are much better compared to any other ASEAN countries.Ok?![]()
You're most welcome man,Problems are part of life let alone illogical ones,Maybe i'll try to feedback to them about it.Originally posted by service_238:BlessingSatan: Thanks for your contribution of these info!gladly appreciate it...
I agree with you with some of what you said cos i personally understand a company/business is not easy to run, let alone a public transport company. In running a public transport company, there's MANY things to take care of.
With singapore having traffic jams here and there, typical singaporeans will just complain as to why the bus take so long (frankly speaking i'm one of them).. However, they did not see the big picture as..
Where is this bus from?
Has there been a breakdown or accident earlier at that road?
etc...
Traffic conditions are vv unpredictable and despite SG is a vv small country, public transport companies are not swift enough to react to these problems, let alone other countries in the region.
Singapore is vv fortunate to have an efficent PT company... so be contented with it.
Cheers!![]()
Efficient, sure. But I'm certain other basic issues can be settled as well instead of leaving it in the air.Originally posted by service_238:BlessingSatan: Thanks for your contribution of these info!gladly appreciate it...

If your basic issues is overcrowding, i dont think it can really be resolved...Originally posted by SBS9818A:Efficient, sure. But I'm certain other basic issues can be settled as well instead of leaving it in the air.
Wait long long.Originally posted by service_238:If your basic issues is overcrowding, i dont think it can really be resolved...
Increase freq is one sol..
but with traffic jams brunching would occur... so in the end its no use...
Best case scenerio: Invent buses with Wings.![]()
