I thought Comfort is part of the DelGRO group.AFAIK, SBS operates public service for delgro while Comfort operates Private services for delgro.Originally posted by freakybuses:Agree!!!! Just simply sarks. Hope Comfort can operate public buses on roads and wee can see blue...
Was Comfort Group bought over by Delgro or merged with Delgro?Originally posted by SBS9818A:ComfortBus is part of SBST now. Smart way of eliminating competitor, just buy them over.
Delgro and Comfort merged to form ComfortDelgro.Originally posted by Yusry:Was Comfort Group bought over by Delgro or merged with Delgro?
I believe it was a merger as the stock was swapped in both cases for new ComfortDelgro shares rather than Comfort shares swapped with Delgro shares.
Why West Point? I kind of like their scanias, btw.Originally posted by xin1jun2:next thing you know west point tpt svcs and SMRT merge together...then we get west point scanias on regularTIBS services...lolz

===================================
Dear Mr XXXXXXX
Thank you for your support to SMRT Buses.
To ensure the smooth operations, the complete livery change for buses
will
be phased over a period of time. It will be carried out concurrently
at
various depots according to the schedule that is not affecting the bus
operations. As for the change of the registration plate of buses and
bus
stop plate, we are reviewing it and where necessary, we would carry it
out
progressively.
We look forward to serving you better. Thank you and have a nice day.
Warmest Regards
XXXXXX XXX (MS)

-----------------------------------
Above is what I sent to SMRT buses regarding the Bus Stop Plates and Registration plates.
They said in that letter that SMRTB is currently REVIEWING the change of their buses rego. So, I think it is most likely that it will be changed.
Notice at the title, it is still written "Feedback on TIBS Services"
btw, can anyone clarify me on this line?"It will be carried out concurrently at various depots according to the schedule that is not affecting the bus operations."
ANY COMMENTS?
Wait long long.Originally posted by xin1jun2:next thing you know west point tpt svcs and SMRT merge together...then we get west point scanias on regularTIBS services...lolz

It'd be a hassle, having to reprint 2400+ sets of rego plates.Originally posted by TIB744U:Hey there cck_190!
Hmmm... They're reviewing whether to change the bus rego prefixes? Oh... This thread finally has got some use
Actually quite less than that, around 800 set of regoes to be exact.Originally posted by SBS9818A:It'd be a hassle, having to reprint 2400+ sets of rego plates.
nopes, it's 2400+, considering tat there are 3 regos per bus (front, back, interior front).Originally posted by Superbus:Actually quite less than that, around 800 set of regoes to be exact.
Cheers and warm regards
Yes..I agree with you. Besides, SMRT corp doesn't seem to care much abt Tibs. They just bought over Tibs for the sake of being multi-modalOriginally posted by service_238:I find that in this exercise, SMRT will try to save as much money as possible at 'revamping' the buses. Hence i dont think changing the regos and re-reg them would be feasible.
Hmm ok. My definition was, 1 set = 3 reg plates.Originally posted by ^tamago^:nopes, it's 2400+, considering tat there are 3 regos per bus (front, back, interior front).
i actually expect them to review & finally decide not to change the existing regos. no point.
