I believe it was a merger as the stock was swapped in both cases for new ComfortDelgro shares rather than Comfort shares swapped with Delgro shares. -

Above is what I sent to SMRT buses regarding the Bus Stop Plates and Registration plates.
They said in that letter that SMRTB is currently REVIEWING the change of their buses rego. So, I think it is most likely that it will be changed.
Notice at the title, it is still written "Feedback on TIBS Services"

i actually expect them to review & finally decide not to change the existing regos. no point. -
I find that in this exercise, SMRT will try to save as much money as possible at 'revamping' the buses. Hence i dont think changing the regos and re-reg them would be feasible.
