Got this from the NOTAMS
CONSTRUCTION OF NEW CHANGI EAST RUNWAY 01/19 LOCATED 1,800M EAST OF RUNWAY 02R/20L COMPLETED. OPERATIONAL TRIALS WILL BE CONDUCTED ON RUNWAY 01/19 BETWEEN 2330/0100 ON 5/6 TO 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 TO 13/14 APRIL. THE USE OF RUNWAY 01/19 IS SOLELY FOR THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE AIRFORCE. 04 APR 09:32 UNTIL 14 APR 23:59

effective length of runway is 2,750m long.
heard there's no more go around right on 02R, must go left.
aerodrome fire & rescue svcs up to CAT 4.
the runway is built on reclaimed land & is exclusively for RSAF use only.
basically a new airport (new ICAO of its own) with its own apron and equipped with ILS. -

yeah. i thought the original plan was to build a third runway for Changi Airport. dunno how come a new airport popped out of it & RSAF took over the 3rd runway. maybe they thought WSSS can cope with 2 runways at the moment & they'll only use it next time.
and yes, i did saw 6 F-16s taking off from Changi Airport area within a minute from Tekong last Wed or Thurs. tis was the first time we saw fighter jets taking off from WSSS 02/20. till i book out tis wkend did i noe they were taking off on the runway 01/19. -
