Hi, I am a new member here. For your first question, I would like to ask which part of east coast u intend to go?? eg. East coast Road or East Coast Park and so on. For the second question, the bus to Costa Sands Resort is service 354 from Pasir Ris bus interchange.

a]From Orchard Rd/City Hall
sv16/36 brings you to Marine Parade and you can utilise the underpass at neither near NTUC, Blk 29 or Mandarin Gardens or
b]you can take svc401 from Bedok Interchange that brings you to the Beach Area from Lagoon all the way to MacDonald's before the bus goes to MArine Parade, TAnjong Katong, Mountbatten before bringing you to Carpark B1, Big Splash, MAc'c, Lagoon [sv401 operates of weekends & PHs]
c]there is a free shuttle at Dhoby Ghaut [os Macdonald house] to Marine Cove
area every half hour[i think]
However, if you are talking about East Coast as in Katong area all the way to Upp East Coast, you can take sv10[from Raffles Place] or sv14[from Orchard] from the bus stop opp Suntec City -

There was this "village" featured on chU show (hosted by darren, sth about unusual place, people in sg). The owner of this place imported these round-bottomed trees from australia. I want to visit there but I've no idea where and how to go.

To get there (provided the location is correct) from the east, take service 969 from Tampines interchange and alight along Sembawang Rd opposite Chong Pang City. At this stop, transfer to service 167 and alight along Sembawang Rd opposite Jln Janggus (this stop is the 6th from Sembawang MRT station which the bus will passes by). Walk towards the next stop, on your right, you will see Andrews Ave, walk down Andrews Ave for about 1 km or so before reaching it. -

take sv179 to Boon Lay Int. From there take the train to Dhoby Ghaut Station to transfer to the North East Line and take the train to Potong Pasir Station, a brisk 7 - 10mins walk after you alight from the station -

Exit Braddell MRT Station by Toa Payoh Lor 1 Exit. Walk past Blk 109, Blk 110, 110A (MSCP) & 206. Cross Toa Payoh North. Use the bridge over the canal to get to Industrial Blk 1004 (near Blk 1008/Food Ctr). Find an exit out to Braddell Rd from the fence and get across Braddell Rd. by crossing the road at the junction with Bishan Rd under the flyover. You will reach a bus stop with Service 93. Make sure the bus is headed towards EUNOS, then take this bus for 12 stops and you will reach 191 Bartley Rd. -

For lesser hassle, you can instead use the MRT and alight at Toa Payoh and take service 28 from the interchange which is just above the mrt station. alight after 14 stops.
You can request the bus captain to alert you when you reach there at the start of the journey, and sit close to the bus captain. -

thanks CCK Nth 6 take 307 to CCK Int, take 190 to Stevens Rd and change to 960, get down at Rochor Canal Rd or Sungei Rd and walk to Bencoolen Rd.
2. Walk to Rochor Rd and take 851 or 980.
If take 980, get down at Sembawang Rd and walk.
If take 851, get down at Yishun Int and walk or take 800 from Yishun Int.
2. Alternative, walk to Selegie Rd and take 857 to Yishun Int, walk from Yishun Int or take 800 from Yishun Int. -

Mine is a bit complicated. I live in Marine Parade near Mandarin Gardens and Victoria JC there. I need to go to my camp in Lim Chu Kang (Tengah Air Base) there which is only accessible by bus number 175.
I have access to buses: 135, 76, 16, 31, 196, 197.. (and some other minor buses) at my area.
What I do is I take 135 or 76 to Paya Lebar MRT, MRT to Choa Chu Kang Int and then 175 bus to my camp and it takes close to 2 hours.
Does anyone know a faster way to get to my camp? Bus or MRT never mind. Thanks. -
suggested route, not the fastest, but nevertheless the best by-bus connection i can provide..
36 from Marine Parade Road, alight at Somerset Road (Somerset MRT) or Orchard Boulevard (opp Orchard MRT), then transfer to 190 to go straight to CCK. -

If u take 190, there's no need to take to CCK interchange. The teck whye ave got both 190 and 175.
u may wish to try 966 to Marsiling MRT station, then MRT 3 stops to CCK(around 10 min excluding waiting) then 175.....dunno if is faster, but can bypass orchard.....
