MRT will take exactly 26mins without waiting time.Originally posted by bus911:woodlands to toa payoh hdb

Alternative 166 -> 165...Originally posted by freakybuses:Fastest way from AMK - Clementi:
take TC services right?
166 will be a one-and-a-half hour long butt pain service. Sv. 165 takes about 45-50 mins in comparison. Turf City buses will take about 45 mins, 15 mins AMK - TFC, wait 15 mins, 15 mins TFC-CLE.Originally posted by leeJZ:Alternative 166 -> 165...
Police Academy stop is ulu, buses speed past it most times, so it's not advisable. Trellis Towers stop is located in a built-up area, and is a better choice.Originally posted by off_service:From Woodlands, take SMRT Buses service 966 to Jalan Toa Payoh and alight. Transfer to SBS Transit services 56, 105 (these 2 services require crossing road) or SBS Transit services 143 or 145 to Toa Payoh Interchange.
Alternatively, you can walk to the HDB Hub. Estimated timing excluding waiting times is between 30 to 40 mins depending on traffic condition.
The bus stop to alight is the stop after the Police Academy bus stop along PIE.

Service 168 to Bedok interchange, walk to bus stop outside, transfer to service 24.Originally posted by ziezoe:Woodland to Expo, which is the fastest way?

Time taken will be quite long... IMO, take 168 to Jln Kayu, 858 to CGA, 24 to Expo.Originally posted by tranquilice:Service 168 to Bedok interchange, walk to bus stop outside, transfer to service 24.
Why are you surprised?Originally posted by ^tamago^:![]()
For me, it's a waste of time to take a bus to CGA via PIE, ECP and Airport Blvd and then transfer to another bus that ply the same roads (Airport Blvd, ECP and PIE).Originally posted by freakybuses:Time taken will be quite long... IMO, take 168 to Jln Kayu, 858 to CGA, 24 to Expo.
But cheaper way will of course be 858 to CGA, 24 to expo.

Service 10 can be quite slow...I suggest Sv 67 to New Upp Changi Rd, switch to Sv 30 which uses ECP to bypass city.Originally posted by tranquilice:Direct service to HarbourFront: service 10 from Tampines and service 963 from Woodlands
