  2. service 113 then 147?

  1st option: Take 113 to Kovan MRT to take NEL
  2nd option: Take all the way for Hougang Int and take 147

  It will take at most 40-45 min
  
  It takes exactly 1 hr from Woodlands - Bedok
  Takes 15 min from Tampines Ave 5 to Bedok
  Takes 30 min from Tampines Ave 9 to Bedok.

  Take svc 171 straight there. Get off at Upp Bukit Timah Rd and walk in.
  
  If it is the peak hrs, you can also drop at Bukit Panjang and take svc 177 to Gombak Dr.

  i found the route already after some guidance from u guys..
  
  from s'goon north ave 4 to lor ah soo:
  take 315 from blk 504, transfer at boundary road svc 53 and alight
  
  from lor ah soo to jalan besar:
  choice 1: take 113 from blk 115 and transfer nel at kovan, alight at boon keng, transfer 139
  choice 2: take 53 from opp blk 115 and transfer nel at serangoon, alight at boon keng, transfer 139
  
  all the bricklands road stuff making me even more confused! anyway thanks

  Thanks, but if don't want to take NSL from AMK to CCK, then is there any alternative. (nor do i wish to take NEL from Serangoon to Outram Park, then change EWL to Jurong East, then NSL to CCK!!!)

  RSAF Hq is never at Gombak... Its operation centre is at PLAB. FYI, that's was why PLAB was also a JI target in 2001

  you can also try taking svc 81 (if it comes first) to anywhere in Pasir Ris, then drop and transfer to svc 53, you may be able to catch a bus ahead, as svc 81 takes a less winding route from Serangoon - Pasir Ris than svc 53.

  if u prefer direct, 53 is faster than 24
  
  53 takes 25 min from S'goon - Pasir Ris Central and another 12-15 min from Pasir Ris to CGA.
  
  81 transfer 53 is no use unless u wanna try your luck if 81 eventually catches up with any 53 bus u miss or not

  But for me, i would prefer takin 100 to Aljunied before takin Train.. iF not.. i'll take NEL to SengKang Station before transferring to 27 at the bus stop outside Compass.. Well.. nT sure iF this is faster than the above route mentioned..

  go to Aljunied waste time, you still have to wait fo the train @ Aljunied, then again @ Tanah merah.
  
  As for Sengkang, svc 27 still does a round in Tampines, so not worth it, better to stick to svc 53.
