Good questions... Well it depends on the info you get and what are you going after? Let's say for today, I spotted SBS 0035 B on 142. I spotted it going to the 142 berth at around 1715 hrs. I quickly took out my digi cam so that i can take a shot of it before it leaves the interchange. However, i wasnt satisfied with the pics that i took. Hence I waited 25 min for it to return. When it returned at 1740 hrs, I took pics of it again.
So here are e answers to your questions...
1. Anywhere as long as you deem it to be suitable.
2. Water and Camera. Camping for a bus can be vv taxing at times.
3. Depends on your luck at getting the bus. My 33 Dart chasing took me 2 hours.
4. Best place should be interchanges as you can see all kinds of regos and buses at your doorstep.

Interchange numbers are not neccessary and its also not very nice to disturb the interchangre people everyday right?

Maybe at the exit of Interchanges.

Depends,Sometimes 3 hours w/o eating.Devotion huh?
Middle of the road Interchanges,Terminals,Outside Bus parks/Depots. -
