In case you haven't know, Service 9 is now fully controlled by BNDEP, in exchange for Services 32 and 197, which is now under HGDEP control.Originally posted by ula_man:SBS 919B on sv 222 (tot its sv 9 from HG?)
SBS 2817Z, and SBS 2827E ,parked along Chai Chee rd , CHARTERED.
yes. i've sat on it today & i think it is a waste not putting it on revenue svc. the engine is still working very well. my choice for it would be svc 36. and i find the voith gearbox on the bus more accelerative than most voiths. gd.Originally posted by off_service:Scanias L113s are used as well.
PA 4696 X and PA 4697 T (both former Sentosa B10Ms) are now on Turf City shuttles. PA 4697 T is on Clementi service while PA 4696 X is parking at Turf City.
This B10M is fast and smooth compared to their SBS Transit counter parts.
The Turf City B10Ms use ZF gearbox.Originally posted by ^tamago^:yes. i've sat on it today & i think it is a waste not putting it on revenue svc. the engine is still working very well. my choice for it would be svc 36. and i find the voith gearbox on the bus more accelerative than most voiths. gd.

There was a special Charter for army boys frm the north/north west to dunno where...Originally posted by cck_190:SBS460 in Yew Tee, Choa Chu Kang! Not sure why it was there. NOT Worker's transportation
really? sounded like voiths to me with the gear change & whistle during deceleration.Originally posted by SBS9818A:The Turf City B10Ms use ZF gearbox.
Off Service and myself also concur that these buses use Voiths rather than ZF. Maybe SBS9818A should take a ride on them a few times to confirm. Maybe record the whistle and run through a comprehensive analyst on the sound waves.Originally posted by ^tamago^:really? sounded like voiths to me with the gear change & whistle during acceleration.

Apparently 4694B uses ZF, as it sounded EXACTLY like a Strider to me. No whistling whatsoever. I'll have to check them out again soon.Originally posted by Yusry:Off Service and myself also concur that these buses use Voiths rather than ZF.
