SBS 0118 X on 26 (AM 54)
SBS 0152 X on 28 (AM SP)
SBS 0225 U on 238 (AM SP), replacing SBS 0032 J
SBS 0230 D on 238 (bram 26), replacing SBS 3693 G timings after 1600 hrs.
SBS 0461 D on 238 (bram 28 ), replacing SBS 3693 G timings before 1600 hrs.
SBS 0564 R on 73 (AM SP)
SBS 0885 P on 163 (HG 62)
SBS 3693 G on 238, replacing SBS 3722 G timings.
SBS 9509 S of 28 had some problems @1620 hrs. Bus was ready to leave TPY but it reversed and did a small round around the TPY trunk berths, before coming back and take pax later. There seems to be a console problem. Problem was probably settled after the driver did the mini ride. -
no. i swear i saw the Mk3 SP bus 652U. in fact, jus a week ago, i was taking it every evening, sometimes on svc 19 or on 89, out of SAF Ferry Terminal at Nicoll Dr when i book out of Pulau Tekong every evening to stay out so i recognise it straight away. probably it's doing spare duty on svc 64 today and svc 51 yesterday.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Should be 651Y. Looks like today is a Merz day on SBST Woodlands services...only saw 9849 in action on 168...other four VSOs replaced by three Merz and a LO. 161 had one of its VSOs replaced by a Merz also. -

such way maintenance locomotives (made by Bombardier i think) are common on both NEL and SMRT lines. fret not, it came from Sengkang Depot after the last southbound train to do checking of rails for excessive grinding, misalignment etc. in fact, if u are going home to Serangoon/Hougang/Sengkang/Punggol on the last train, u may be able to see the locomotive move into the opposite platform. tis happens every time i'm at dhoby ghaut. Then, a stationary train was at Sengkang Station heading for Punggol. Caused my train, heading for Punggol, to use Platform A, (heading for HBF). I didn't know they could change tracks like this cause it was using Platform B when bypassing Buangkok Station.
First time i alighted NEL on the "wrong" platform. Pretty strange. there is a NB to SB crossover just after Buangkok NB. these special rail configurations that allow trains to change tracks are called crossovers. try standing at the front console of NEL train and see the crossovers after Buangkok. and anyway, the stationary train at Platform A was probably terminating revenue service at Sengkang and heading home to Sengkang Depot.
All happen between 2342 and 0003. -
i think SBST wants to cash in on the school hol crowd to the resorts and thus has temporarily converted 354 to a full a/c svc. 3651 has been sch hol perm for quite some time. 584H was on 354 also yest.Originally posted by delonchew:This morning:

4 SBST amdep buses were also deployed to ferry participants from Sembawang Camp (Navy) - my current unit - for their NDP rehearsal. they arrived at the camp at 09:58, departed at ard 10:40 and returned between 16:28-16:31. in sequence (same for arriving, departing & returning!): 530M 3747K 3833U 184D
alas, they came at the wrong time. today Sembawang Camp having open mobilisation exercise, there was a converging of vehicles at the guardroom. poor thing. -
