In fact, I have included this version of service 804A (Yishun - Northbrooks Sec). Just that I typed Yishun Ring Rd instead of the school name.Originally posted by off_service:Another 804A was introduced, between Yishun Int and Northbrooks Sec Sch. It was withdrawn before 804 was amended to ply St 41.
Checked my bus guides again and noted that service 981 was first indicated in the 2000 guide (cut off date is 31-12-99), so it was probably introduced in 1999.Originally posted by off_service:Service 981 is introduced back in year 2000 if I'm not wrong. Sembawang is too undeveloped in 1998 to have a new service. Even the first "feeder" trunk service, 859, came in 1999.
yes. both SS services used only CSS buses. and i think SS1 went to Marina South to/from CBD area.Originally posted by gynobcard:way back in 2001. SS2 served East Coast Park if i remember correctly. will check it out.
quoting own post but nvm. so it's NR11, not SS1.Originally posted by ^tamago^:yes. both SS services used only CSS buses. and i think SS1 went to Marina South to/from CBD area.
Aren't NR services still charging $3? Never-ending promotion huh?Originally posted by ^tamago^:quoting own post but nvm. so it's NR11, not SS1.
anyway did PTC approve the fare of $5 for NR? i didn't recall paying $5 for the NR bus. and i thought SS services stuck to their $1.50 fare all the while. someone enlighten me...
I guess in the end TIBS didnt adopt the approved fare as it was too expensive.Originally posted by ^tamago^:quoting own post but nvm. so it's NR11, not SS1.

I guess there's a mistake in the route. It never plied on Tanjong Rhu flyover. It used the slip road beside Tanjong Rhu flyover.Originally posted by service_238:SS2: Marina Centre - East Coast Park (Loop)

except that it was a very unique feeder which starts from an Ind Pk (3) to another Ind Pk (2). Thus, industrial fares used to be charged until SBS found it odd to charge industrial stage fares like other JIS services. btw, 263 changed to 268 in Feb 1997.Originally posted by off_service:It was formally a feeder service before converting to Townlink in 1996.

Current service 94 was probably introduced in late 80s or early 90s. Used to operate daily as a whole day service, converted to current timetable in 1993.Originally posted by sbst275:I was looking at this
Could someone vertiy when the current 94 was introduced. Because, I have all along thought that it was Mon - Sat sv as the old SBS plate along its route was old and dirty when I saw them at the RSAF PLAB open house years back.
Is it because of the introduction of another service to PLAB?Originally posted by tranquilice:Current service 94 was probably introduced in late 80s or early 90s. Used to operate daily as a whole day service, converted to current timetable in 1993.
