AMK Feeders:
260: Introduced before 1979 when AMK was a brand new town then. Served St 24 and 22 where the current AMK CC now stands. Withdrawn sometime in 1980.
261: Introduced before 1979. Current route is still the exact original route except that it had an additional loop at St 22/24 before terminating along the current AMK Ave 3 (in front of Blk 700A). Loop withdrawn in 1983.
262: Introduced before 1979. Looped somewhere in Ave 4. Extended to loop at Ave 2 in the 80s. Plied St 22/24 before amendment of route which is the current route.
263: Introduced in 1981. Original route to start from AMK and loop at St 61 via Ave 4. Sort of like the current 269. Terminated at AMK Depot when the depot when it was opened in 1985 and plied Ind Pk 2 later. 269 replaced the deleted sector of 263 in 1984. Renumbered as svc 268 as a townlink svc in 1997 as it could no longer charge the former Jurong Industrial fares of 45c and in the same year, fare stage fares are charged for Jurong Ind svcs.
264 was not used.
265: Introduced in 1980. Also had an additional loop as svc 261. Interesting fact about the olden route was that it could ply through from St 53 to Ave 8 until 1983 when works began for the NS line of MRT. Terminated at Blk 555 in 1982 and looped at St 22/24 until 1983/4 when it terminated at AMK Int. Route amended again in 2002 when AMK Int shifted. 265 merged with 266 and became a townlink svc and terminated at AMDEP.
266: Introduced in 1981. Retained original route until 2002 when merged with 265 as a townlink svc.
268: Reincarnation of svc 263. Merged with 267 in 2002 and looped at AMK Ave 5. Had several amendments in 2003 when part of AMK Ave 12 was closed.
269: Route introduced sometime in 1983/4. Plied on the deleted sectors of svc 263 and also AMK Ave 6. Amended in 2002 and was amended to ply Ave 4 & 5 to cover deleted sectors of 266 and 138 covered the deleted sectors of AMK Ave 6. -
Can I just skip to 300,301,302,303,307? Choa Chu Kang Feeders.
Service 300
Was introduced around 1994. Used to loop somewhere in CCK Ave 4. Now loops at the infamous CCK Ave 5.
Service 301
The first feeder service in Choa Chu Kang. Was introdued in 1999. The route is about the same as the second loop of 307.Part of Intratown/Townlink 307 since 1997.
Service 302
It was introduced in 1995, when Yew Tee West just started developing. The route is about the same as how it was. Used to loop at Yew Tee MRT Station. In 1996, it was extended to loop @ Choa Chu Kang Crescent.
Service 303
It was introduced in 1995, around the same period of time as the introduction of 302. It served Yew Tee South(CCK Nth 5, Stadium). It is now part of 307. The route is exactly the same as the first loop as 307.
Service 307
It is a merger of 301 & 303. It is the second townlink service introduced in Singapore. It lacks respect from SMRTB. -

a few facts i found out
service 16 is numbered after marine parade.
service 16 ended at some car park terminus within telok blangah drive est. so called carpark in front of block 78 which has since been - moved to another side silly upgrading)
i myself was at the upp bt timah bus ter bef bt panjang circus along upp bt timah road ytd. lots of old strucutres around. hint: the bus ter is opp the bt panjang lrt stn facing upp bt timah rd
service that used to call there i know is 177
(177 UPP BT TIMAH (bt panjang) - CHOA CHU KANG RD END)
now only this 405 goes to cck rd end
i guesss back then it was a bustling village there and so 172 and 177 duplicated each other

172 LIM CHU KANG RD END via cck rd - SHENTON WAy
meanwhile there is another teminus (i call it OPP BEAUTY WORLD) along upp bt timah rd 9bef ewart circus)the terminal has since bene demolished due to the upp bt timah rd expansion works / underpass works
i think:
the terminal could be seen last time existing after the juntcion of jln ank bt and jln jurong kechil. saw a strucutre for a bus stop there before the road works.or the bus terminus cd be where the present longish bus top is (opp bt timah plaza) not very sure on this

Service 302 first looped at the junction of Nth 5 and St 52, then extended to loop at the junction of St 52 and Nth 6 when St 52 opened. Extended again to loop at St 62, when the road opened, before amended to present route.
Service 303 first looped at the junction of Nth 5 and St 54, then extended to loop at St 62, when the rest of Nth 5 (towards Nth 6) and Nth 6 opened.
The junctions of Nth 5/St 52, St 52/Nth 6 and Nth 5/St 54 were temporary mini roundabout back in 1994, so that the buses can made a U-turn at the junctions. All vehicles back then have to U-turn there as the roads beyond the roundabouts were still under construction. -

In fact, the buses made a u-turn at Kg Berih Rd. I see 177 as a supporting role to 172. Seems like most of the demand from the villages along CCK Rd was to get to Bt Panjang or Bt Timah where there were more buses to get elsewhere.
195 existed back then as

My Bishan services are a big mess.
54 : Integration of Sv. 104 S'goon - NBR and Sv. 134 Bishan - NBR. Sv. 134 previously plied Ang Mo Kio.
56 : Bishan - TPY (Loop). Integrated with Sv. 58 Bishan - Marina Centre in the late 80s to form Sv. 56 Bishan - Marina Centre
57 : Came about from withdrawn Sv. 353, plying Bishan - Sin Ming Sector A. When Bishan St 22 was opened in 1993, Sv. 57 was withdrawn and replaced by then-called "Townlink 410".
58 : Same as Sv. 56 -
Upp Bt Timah Terminal (near Bt Panjang Circus) closed in 1981. 178 and 181 were extended to Woodlands. 200 was shortened to Jln Anak Bt while 193 joined 173 at Princess Elizabeth. And it stayed there until its withdrawal in 1990 causing the closure of Princess Elizabeth Terminal. I've never seen this terminal (Pricess Elizabeth). I dunno. I copied my info from the 1980/81 Bus Guide at the NRL which stated otherwise.
