Hmm... I take 74 from Hougang Ave 2 (opp Blk 634) to Buona Vista MRT every week in the morning. It takes about 1 hour 15 minutes on average. So, I guess it could take 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes for the entire trip. However, at least 2 74s almost always bunch up in the morning, so the timing may be affected. Is it true that different timesheets are used for different direction at different time of the day? yes my driver uncle showed me his timetable once.
at night his 93 does from eunos to WTC in 1 hr
but during peak it is 1 hr 20 mins

Hmm I took SBS 1688 K on Sv 74 last year... i think. It took me around 50 mins from AMK Ave 3 to BV.

It took me 1 hour 15 minutes to get from Hougang Ave 2 to Buona Vista (7.45am to 9am) today. The bus I took was a Trident and was pretty slow somewhat since it bunched with a VO2X and naturally, people would choose to board SBS9671E instead of the VO2X.

Another long journey ride would be on Sv 105.
From Serangoon to JE, n vice versa will take 1hr 15 mins each. On a Mk 4 DM 3500, you can lay down on the seat and enjoy the ride. On a Mercedes Benz O.405, enjoy the speed that it gives. On a B10BLE Gas, have a bumpy gassy ride.
However, shall jams happen, it would take 1 hr 30 mins - 1 hr 40 mins. -
I once took Sv 147 from Hougang Ctrl Int - Serangoon Ctrl and it took about 30 min. Very winding through Hougang Ave 8 & Yio Chu Kang Rd. Plus it was raining and the VO stopped at virtually every bus stop.
From now I take Sv 107 or Sv 153, a direct route down Upp Serangoon Rd. -
For me, my threshold of a long ride is something that takes 1hr 45mins or longer.
Anything shorter is considered reasonable.
1hr or less is a short ride.
I guess only services like 51, 61 and probably a few others would fit my definition of a long ride. -
I took TIB 376 Z of 961 from WDL to HCJC bus stop. The journey took 38 min.. I consider it quite fast for the distance it covered...
If the total journey time is 2 hrs, does this mean that most of the time is spent in town? -
during morning peak hour, 961 takes about an hour from Woodlands to HCJC bus stop.
67 is another butt-pain ride. Takes 1 hour 15 minutes from Tampines to HCJC bus-stop... -
