I guess both you and I have seen the actual Jurong Rd in Bt Batok. From Jurong Town Hall Rd, it goes down into being near the slip road of the PIE, then it goes just beside the blocks there, then it cuts thru Bt Batok Swimming Complex and Bt Batok Ind Pk A before it joins the actual Bt Batok East Ave 6.Originally posted by Yusry:

Very interesting. Looks like Jurong Rd did become the PIE. So to prevent the isolation of Hong Kah Village, was a new Jurong Rd built running parellel with the PIE? How much of Jurong Rd became the PIE anyway?Originally posted by Yusry:I beg to differ.

If you look carefully at the 2 maps, you will notice the the remnants of "Old Jurong Road of 1975" (the few crescent roads) were combined together to form the "Jurong Road of 1988".Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:Very interesting.
