Perhaps the VO2X are migrating over to JIS. But even then how can the SDs cope? But I do agree perhaps a few DDs from 165 can serve 74 for school release hour, perhaps from 3 to 5pm one directional from BNV to HGC. After that it can continue to operate on sv 165. -
Lots of VO2x were back on 74 this morning but the single-decks were still there, especially with 4 consecutive ones seen today. At least there was a very rare Trident on 74 today.

Its between Pasir Ris St 1 and Pasir Ris St 71. It's found in Western Pasir Ris. It received its first intake of students in 2003 and they will be sitting for their "Air" level this year. The school is headed by a notorious woman of Lai Choon Lian, former TKSS principal.
Advice: Go and enjoy your first 3 months for O level takers this year. Otherwise, do not ever step into the stressful and taxing environment there.
MJC's school bus are 3 39 81.
Some take 53 89 358 to PSR Central and they would take any bus to Blk 571 bus stop to change to 15. The most popular of all is 81

Why not choose the western side instead of east? West side JCs are very deep inside a neighbourhood of a town... eg PJC in CCK(Jln Teck Whye) and JJC (Jurong West Ave 2)... but East side ones quite easy to reach...Originally posted by SBS9818A:I do agree. I enjoy travelling.

What more school bus service than Service 158 between Kallang and Dunman High School. With TWO shortworking trips (158A and 158B) specially customised for us.
The morning trip even calls at stops in the "opposite" direction-- It calls at Kallang MRT and Outside DHS, both stops towards SGN, even though the bus is in the Tg Rhu direction. It also skips the stop at Fort Rd.
During the "peak periods", the bus can be 90-100% Dunmanians for both full route and short trip between the school and Kallang Stn. Very packed at times, very roudy also.
Other than my good ol 158, here are others:
Service 60: Eunos Primary (my alma mater) is dependent on it since it moved to the Chai Chee temporary site.
Service 151: Has the youngest population from the most varied institutions. CJC, SJI, SCGS, RGS (transfer), SMU, NYPS, RGPS, HCJC, TCHS, NYGH, NJC, MGS, Ngee Ann Poly, Maju Camp, and ending at NUS.
Service 966: CJC in one direction and VJC in the other. Also has ppl from bukit timah schools mentioned above, including me (HCJC). -
There was one occasion in 2002/2003 when i go to my sec sch from Kallang MRT, i saw a SBST158A on Geylang Lor 1 towards Mounbatten Rd. After much thought and double checking with the TL Guides, I found out the true route of 158A:
Sims Ave, Geylang Lor 3, Upp Boon Keng Rd, Geylang Lor 1, Mountbatten Rd, Fort Rd, Tg Rhu Rd.
now this sounds logical -
There are some good schools in the west though...ACS, SJI, NUS High (Upcoming), Chinese High etc
Sv 158 is the only bus serving Tanjong Rhu / Dunman High, very little for a fairly large area, maybe its because that area is 100% condo and most people own cars.
