SMRT Bus Rego Prefix

Hey there everyone!
Basically, with the name changes from Tibs to SMRT, would there be any possibility that the bus rego prefix 'TIB' would be changed? Since the name Tibs and Trans Island's no longer in use by the companies... -

JPJ Malaysia does not bother as much as we do. Just go to JB and you see cars with JEW rego prefix. Further afield, one could fine a vehicle with rego no BED 6969 in Klang.

I just discovered a way which is quite cheap if SMRT buses wants to change their Rego prefix.
See, they do not have to change the whole plate.Just take some stickers bearing the new prefix, paste over the 'TIB'
EG(Prefix taken as 'MRT'):
TIB791H ===> [MRT]791H
791H remain, paste sticker over TIB
==========

It may not be as simple as just having to paste TIB over with MRT. They will have to go through the regulating body of license plates to get permission and they may have to pay a fee to do so.

Yup, isn't it still cheaper than replacing a whole plate???
