If anyone went to CCK interchange during that day, can you tell me how it was like. How was the giving up process was like. Please tell me. I didn't go there during that day.

It happened on a Monday, that's all I know. For me, at that time, I was living in Woodlands but schooling in Bt Panjang. But at that time, my school was housed temporarily in Teck Whye. So, on 26 July 1999, as I was reaching school in the morning, I was in my father's car. When we passed by lot 1 mall that day, I noticed that it was a bit chaotic near the interchange. AFAI knew service 190 on TIBS first few days did not even have bendies....but that is from my couz's tix i collected during that time....

For me it is a fair move as SBST won the tender for the NEL rail systems and TIBS got Bt Batok,CCK & Bt Panjang.It is also nice to see a TIBS Terminal at East side namely Lor 1 Geylang and SBST services @ Woodlands & Yishun respectively

If i remember correctly, the day that TIBS took over 190 and the day where 864 865 866 were SBS isnt on the same day. There was a buffing period of a week or 2 i guess. I'm not sure which event happened first.

In return, all TIBS new towns along the NEL, Sengkang and Punggol, were given back to SBS.
