I think it is 9014 or something.Originally posted by kitoshizc:read on the papers for sv 143 free rides from fri to sun 16 May. What bus rego is it or anyone knows the timing like where it appears?
http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/pop_up_ocbc.htmOriginally posted by sbs&tibs:There was a photo of the OCBC free bus in Lian He Zhao Bao. The Bus model seems to look like a VO3x bus. LHZB stated that passengers will get a free ride on 143 only! 143 had an OCBC bus which is a LO3x. Can anyone clarify this?
From the photo, the bus is a VO3x with red colour seats.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/pop_up_ocbc.htm
It was said that the free bus ride is only for 143. May I know what is the rego and the service of this bus (VO3x) from the website given?
So I think free rides are not available on that service although that service also had that OCBC poster.Originally posted by tranquilice:From the photo, the bus is a VO3x with red colour seats.
Just a guess, the front desto number looks like 165.![]()
I wonder how many free buses are needed to serve passengers. If OCBC needs more than 1, that 165 bus is the best choice. It would be nice to see 143 using VOs.Originally posted by SBST390:the bus is a 165 bus permer... take it to work everyday
but i am not surprised if they take it to 143 for a cameo

yes that's the bus that will be used and is used by 143 for these 3 days. There's a notice at TPY on it. There were 5/6 trips for today: 0702 hrs, 09xx hrs, 12xx hrs, 16xx hrs, 20xx hrs and 2330 hrs.Originally posted by foxtrot1985:I know a VO3x with the OCBC ad but it's permanent on 132 instead. Rego is SBS9529J.
All departing from Toa Payoh?Originally posted by service_238:yes that's the bus that will be used and is used by 143 for these 3 days. There's a notice at TPY on it. There were 5/6 trips for today: 0702 hrs, 09xx hrs, 12xx hrs, 16xx hrs, 20xx hrs and 2330 hrs.
The notice was actually for 9014 but the SBST staff pasted 9529J rego above it.
yes. I was at TPY today.. didnt go to JUR though...Originally posted by tranquilice:All departing from Toa Payoh?
Maybe service 88 VO do not have the ad?Originally posted by SBS9818A:Wonder why SBST have to temporarily x-fer a HGDEP bus over to Sv. 143 when a Sv. 88 VO can easily do the job (eg 9618K, 9620C)
Plastering an ad only takes a day.Originally posted by tranquilice:Maybe service 88 VO do not have the ad?
Dont forget that there's a contract with the companies. They would rather deploy a bus on 143 that has the ad presently instead of plastering it.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Plastering an ad only takes a day.
Sv. 143 because it passes through town.Originally posted by service_238:Dont forget that there's a contract with the companies. They would rather deploy a bus on 143 that has the ad presently instead of plastering it.
As to why 143? Maybe SBST or OCBC chose that route :S
I think ultimately 9529 will be used, as it's rego is pasted on TPY office.Originally posted by gynobcard:saw SBS 9035B with the ad today.its on svc 10 though.
Well, 132 also passes through town, so why not give free rides on 132 instead since it will be less troublesome?Originally posted by SBS9818A:Sv. 143 because it passes through town.
