They are bus stops that are not upgraded yet.

There are two bus stops there, one for services going towards Holland Rd, the other for the ones toward Scotts Rd, but SBS / TIBS still considers the two a seperate bus stop.Originally posted by Superbus:Orchard Boulevard. Cheers and warm regards
So isn't what I said earlier meant the same? They are two separate stops located at either side of Orchard Boulevard. It has never been considered one stop by anyone.Originally posted by leeJZ:There are two bus stops there, one for services going towards Holland Rd, the other for the ones toward Scotts Rd, but SBS / TIBS still considers the two a seperate bus stop.
Another instance of two stops = 1 bus stop is the Buona Vista MRT bus stop.

Northwest Singapore is quite lucky. Most of the original bus stops are preserved.Originally posted by freakybuses:Bus Stops finding report in the North West. Dated 22/5/2004.
Bukit Panjang: Red roof tops and with brown walls. Same structure as AMK bus stops.
Choa Chu Kang: Have they been repainted? Grey paint has ripped off from some bus stops and blue patches hae appeared. Grey rounded roof top with structure like the pair of outstanding bus stops along AMK Ave 5.
Bukit Batok: 2 types of bus stops. One type is the new bus stops in majority neighbourhoods in Bt Batok. Another type seen along Bukit Batok West Ave 2 (bef Bukit Batok Ctrl). Same structure as the bus stops of AMK St 52/53/54 except the bus stop is flat roofed and light blue-green based walls.
But not Bukit Batok. Many perished.Originally posted by cck_190:Northwest Singapore is quite lucky. Most of the original bus stops are preserved.
CCK bus stops was repainted partially in 2001, during the election.
