How did you feel about the handover of bus service?

For Sengkang & Punggol, I wasn't quite happy about it.
I was quite angry with SBS for taking over Jalan Kayu.
I was happy when I heard that Tibs is taking over BBT & CCK (cck_190, please do not be angry). -

Frankly speaking, at the time of the takeover, it didn't affect me much as I was still small. I did not even notice what was happening until I was Primary 3, in 2000. I noticed that the year before, there were SBS buses but all of a sudden, just 1 week before I moved into Choa Chu Kang, the buses changed to Tibs.
I was quite sad. In October 2003, there were talks on SBST giving up the NEL. This was a very happy occasion for me. If SBS gives up the NEL, there would be a chance that CCK would be given back to SBS. Sadly, nothing happened...till now, I'm still waiting for SBS to take over Choa Chu Kang.
I can SWEAR that SBS did a better job when they were having CCK.Those were the CCK services' heydays. CCK received the 2nd townlink service. 190 had a full DD fleet. For some reason, TIBS seem to hate CCK...
btw, sbs&tibs, why did you like the takeover? Let me tell you sbs&tibs, you wouldn't be very happy if you're living in CCK. A lot of services are being mistreated. -
ok first things first. Even if SMRT takes over NEL, SBST may not want CCK back. They will ask: for what? I speculate that if SMRT takes over NEL, SBST may increase bus services in the area to compete with NEL. This is happening in the Eastern area. Tampines was pampered because of Mah Bow Tan. AMK is NOT PAMPERED at all.... why? It is better off that SBST won the NEL tender as to balance with SMRT whom had TIBS,CSS,BusPlus & the upcoming CCL under its wings.At least it is quite balance.Let SMRT control CCK,BP & BB as it should be,I just hope that a SBST service will introduced @ CCK or BP,That's all!

If i'm living in CCK,BP or BB for numerous of years,I would regard it as quite fortunate for 2 public bus operators changing hands to serve my area.
