Hi all,
From what I know, there were 3 versions of Choa Chu Kang Road. Can anyone kindly tell me more about each version of Choa Chu Kang Road?

i noe theres a choa chu kang road and an old choa chu kang road. the former i think is really at cck, while the latter is at lim chu kang.

1. CCK Rd end - Sungei Tengah Rd
2. Now part of KJE
3. Junction with Jln Lam Sam - Brickland Rd
4. Brickland Rd - CCK Terrace (disappeared)
5. CCK Terrace
6. CCK Ave 1 (CCK Terrace to CCK Way)
7. CCK Way (CCK Ave 1 to Bt Batok Rd)
8. CCK Rd (Bt Batok Rd to Woodlands Rd/Upp Bt Timah Rd)
CCK Rd once stretched from CCK Rd end to Woodlands Rd/Upp Bt Timah Rd junction. -

I guess there's still some tracks there which lead to Jln Lam Sam, but were no longer indicated on the street directory. Further deep into Jln Lam Sam is currently used as a military training area, out of public access. -

Traces of these roads are still visible. Tracks 18, 20 and 22 are still in use. Hong Kah Circle is out of bounds. In the east camp, the roads from the main gate to the former medical centre (where service 103 U-turn) is considered public. After the medical centre, there will be a post where regimental police stationed (in the past), from there onwards the roads are private. Correct if I'm wrong.

MINDEF car park as indicated in the bus guide refers to the car park outside the MINDEF pass office. Track 22 if I'm not mistaken. Public vehicles still accessed it last June, when I went in on a joyride. Ended up at Jln Lam Sam. The RP post is before the camp gate, and all pax must alight and be checked before being allowed to reboard to enter Seletar East to alight @ the Medical centre. Now that 103 does not call at the medical centre anymore, i'm not sure about the arrangement. -

Ok, I've checked the 2002 road guide. That road was listed as track 22/21. The other camp gate is known as east camp gate, after the point where service 103 loops. There's also a west camp gate.
You can refer to 2004 transitlink guide, Seletar camp gate and east camp gate are indicated on service 103 page. West camp gate number 3 is indicated on service 103W page.
