If 174 uses buses from BBDEP, you would see JB Mk3s as cameos, wouldnt you?Originally posted by sbs&tibs:I know 174 is based in SLBP, but I heard that it uses some buses from BBDEP. Is that so? If it is, how many of 174 buses are based in BBDEP?
And some VO 3x too right?Originally posted by service_238:If 174 uses buses from BBDEP, you would see JB Mk3s as cameos, wouldnt you?![]()

if u see a strider on 174, tell me ASAP and i'll rush down with my camera. 174 fleet consists of 0405 OAC and CAC and LO3x only, and the occasional MK5 cameoOriginally posted by sbs&tibs:I thought I saw one of the treads saying something like " 174 uses some buses from BBDEP and that's why you see striders on 174".
Can you confirm please?
Strider have no chance of being on 174 unless..Originally posted by gynobcard:if u see a strider on 174, tell me ASAP and i'll rush down with my camera. 174 fleet consists of 0405 OAC and CAC and LO3x only, and the occasional MK5 cameo
SLBP had two Striders, SBS 2649 and SBS 2650. They are with ARBP now. There might be more in SLBP, but we'll have to look at the perm bus list to find out more.Originally posted by service_238:Strider have no chance of being on 174 unless..
1. Depot control goes to BBDEP
2. SLBP gets Striders
carbikebus: yes..
correct me if i am wrong..Originally posted by SBS9818A:SLBP had two Striders, SBS 2649 and SBS 2650. They are with ARBP now. There might be more in SLBP, but we'll have to look at the perm bus list to find out more.
I wouldnt post if i have no grounding of what i say. So what i can say for now is that currently SLBP does not have any Striders laying eggs inside.Originally posted by SBS9818A:SLBP had two Striders, SBS 2649 and SBS 2650. They are with ARBP now. I am compelled to think SLBP borrowed those 2 as they were short of buses. So SLBP technically DID have Striders.Originally posted by SBST390:correct me if i am wrong..
2649 and 2650 used to be ex SBST67... thus they should belong to BBDEP. dun think soon lee has any striders... if i were not to be mistaken, they only have volvo MK4 DM3500s
Check with my Technician friend who based at SLBP and he confirm there was no Striders nor the regos statedOriginally posted by service_238:I wouldnt post if i have no grounding of what i say. So what i can say for now is that currently SLBP does not have any Striders laying eggs inside.
SBST66 Striders come from HGDEP.
Partly because they left SLBP early this year.Originally posted by carbikebus:Check with my Technician friend who based at SLBP and he confirm there was no Striders nor the regos stated.
soon lee should have pretty enuff buses... only covering 2 interchanges... and most of the trunks are joint ops.Originally posted by SBS9818A:I am compelled to think SLBP borrowed those 2 as they were short of buses. Now that is odd. He should have noticed the two Striders on Sv. 105 what.Originally posted by carbikebus:Eh very the strange haMy Tech friend has been working there for almost 4 years and all he did see is Volvo 3x batch one(Transferred),VO 2X,0405s,LOs & Some MK4 DM3500s.
did 105 use striders before?? my memory tells me was DM/WA mercz. and more recently the CAC DM Mercz.... the MK4 DM3500s came like last year niaOriginally posted by SBS9818A:Now that is odd. He should have noticed the two Striders on Sv. 105 what.
The DM3500 Mk IVs came to Sv. 105 when they were first launched. Some evidence that SLBP did have Striders can be found at http://cc.1asphost.com/B772ER/1897z_mini_157.JPG, photo courtesy of Jack.Originally posted by SBST390:did 105 use striders before?? my memory tells me was DM/WA mercz. and more recently the CAC DM Mercz.... the MK4 DM3500s came like last year nia
SBS1897Z...sounds like a bus from either BBDEP or ARBP. Was 157 based in on of the depots I mentioned.Originally posted by SBS9818A:The DM3500 Mk IVs came to Sv. 105 when they were first launched. 157 is soon lee and central joint control... hmm... i have seen the occassional DM3500 cameo but a strider... ?? is it a bus exchange programOriginally posted by sbs&tibs:SBS1897Z...sounds like a bus from either BBDEP or ARBP. Was 157 based in on of the depots I mentioned.
AMDEP has 3 Striders, 2600G, 2601E, 2634J. All are perm on Sv. 131, 1897Z is from ARBP, must have been with SLBP on the day. If I'm not wrong, 9816E has pics of Striders on Sv. 105, and 9819Y, 2649S on Sv. 30Originally posted by SBST390:157 is soon lee and central joint control... hmm... i have seen the occassional DM3500 cameo but a strider... ?? is it a bus exchange program
well we cannot proof that soon lee has striders... unless that model appears on a variant o services. it could be just one of those days where there is haywired deployment. i dun think AMDEP and BRAM have striders either
VSO on sv 30,WOW isn't this a very rare deployment?Originally posted by SBS9818A:9816E has pics of Striders on Sv. 105, and 9819Y, 2649S on Sv. 30
Well... just for everyone's info, the VSOs were stationed at SLBP before they went over to AMDEP to do revenue service in early 2003.Originally posted by carbikebus:VSO on sv 30,WOW isn't this a very rare deployment?
I mean user 9819Y has 2649S on Sv. 30! Not 9819Y on Sv. 30! Sorry.Originally posted by carbikebus:VSO on sv 30,WOW isn't this a very rare deployment?
