But comparing averages can prove a point.Originally posted by delonchew:What you are doing is getting an average count of posts. The reality is sometimes in a month you post more, sometimes less.
kid, grow up.its not the quantity of posts that counts but the quality. seems that you are posting for the sake of posting.Originally posted by leeJZ:Proof. Go divide your post count by the number of months you joined and then do the same to mine.
some people got only one word post. eg: yes/no.Originally posted by gynobcard:kid, grow up.its not the quantity of posts that counts but the quality. seems that you are posting for the sake of posting.
Posting for the sake of posting? I never post any one words posts in hereOriginally posted by gynobcard:kid, grow up.its not the quantity of posts that counts but the quality. seems that you are posting for the sake of posting.
This, kid, is a prime example of "posting for the sake of posting".Originally posted by leeJZ:Posting for the sake of posting? I never post any one words posts in here![]()
You too are posting for the sake of posting.Originally posted by SBS9818A:This, kid, is a prime example of "posting for the sake of posting".
There is nothing to retort the former about.Originally posted by SBS9818A:I find it extremely interesting that you are only retorting to my posts, instead of freakybuses or gynobcard. Very, very interesting.

from what i see if u cut 960, bt panjang peeps doesnt have direct links to Bugis, Rochor and Suntec City.Originally posted by cool_elf:I think sv 960 need to be re route cos I see the sv has no purpose. Bt Panjang resident has a lot of 'speedy buses going to town and those BP ppl can go to wdlands rd ind estates by taking 178, 961, or 170. And I see that there is no need for 960 to pass thru bt panjang estates cos like i said jus now, BP ppl has alot of buses to go to town area. Taking 960 from Woodlands to Marina and to pass thru BP estate kinda irates me bcos many bus stops and many traffic lights.. grrr..
From BP to wdlands road Ind est, BP ppl can take 963, 184, 970, 75, alight at upper bt timah, cross over and take 961,178 or 170.
From BP to Bt Timah: 67,171, 170
I think 960 should loop at suntec city. Better right?
Suggested route: Wdlands Int - Marsiling Rise/Lane - Admiralty Rd - Wdlands Centre Rd - Wdlands Ave 3 - Wdlands Rd(kranji MRT) - 'race course link' (forgot wats the name) - BKE - PIE - Whitley Rd - Bt Timah Rd - Ophir Rd - Bugis - Bras Basah Rd - Suntec city and loop back to Woodlands.
i think SMRT should introduce one more 'speedy' service from Woodlands to town(without passing thru Bt Panjang of cos).
Wat do u bus experts think? Jus my 2 cents worth.. thanx.
But 960 demand is high as frequency is more than 10 mins during off peak. If it is like 190, demand will be lowOriginally posted by leeJZ:960 CANNOT be removed from Bukit Panjang, extremely high demand, can be higher than the infamously full 190. 960 has full bendy fleet (190 has some 12m buses) and many trips has overloading frm City - BPJ on peak hrs and weekend afternoons / nights.
The reason why SMRT doesnt want to introduce express services from Woodlands to the city is that they want ppl to take the MRT. This cannot be said for BPJ residents as itd be very inconvinient for them.
Ermm, I just saw 4 960 bendies at Bukit Panjang, two bunched @ Woodlands Rd, and two bunched @ Jelabu Rd on Saturday...much better than 10min freq.Originally posted by sbst275:But 960 demand is high as frequency is more than 10 mins during off peak. If it is like 190, demand will be low
But, Qn is, it is bef the merger
SMRT crooked up the frequency. The frequency by right is 9-12 minsOriginally posted by leeJZ:Ermm, I just saw 4 960 bendies at Bukit Panjang, two bunched @ Woodlands Rd, and two bunched @ Jelabu Rd on Saturday...much better than 10min freq.
I'm ok with that the withdrawal of 952... but at least retain the old 950 la! From wdlands to City Hall, Raffles Place and Tg Pagar by train is kinda long trip. I'm kinda pissed by that withdrawal of 950, 952 and 182. The loss can be felt even at this pt in timeOriginally posted by iveco:Tibs should not have plugged 952. It was so much faster from Woodlands to Marina Centre.
Errmm ok.. now I know SMRT can be that evil to WoodlandersOriginally posted by leeJZ:960 CANNOT be removed from Bukit Panjang, extremely high demand, can be higher than the infamously full 190. 960 has full bendy fleet (190 has some 12m buses) and many trips has overloading frm City - BPJ on peak hrs and weekend afternoons / nights.

I think 356 should be revived while 3 enter TPE from PSR Dr 8.Originally posted by sbst275:An interesting topic
For me I will do a lot
Make Sv 3 to use direct rt to DTE and Punggol (Cutting out the 357 rt)
Replacing by Sv 4, Tampines to Pasir Ris St 71 as journey for Sv 3 is too long
Extend 18 to CBD (Tampines needs more CBD bound buses after 81 is cut)
Make either 1 Paya Lebar Air Base route to do peak hour only. Their demand is pathetic between 1000-1400, 1900-
What I hope is that 3 can still serve DTE yet shorter journeyOriginally posted by iveco:I think 356 should be revived while 3 enter TPE from PSR Dr 8.
18 better off if it merges with 7.
12 should extend to Clementi via former 189 route.
94 is a day service, is it not?
