I think sv 960 need to be re route cos I see the sv has no purpose. Bt Panjang resident has a lot of 'speedy buses going to town and those BP ppl can go to wdlands rd ind estates by taking 178, 961, or 170. And I see that there is no need for 960 to pass thru bt panjang estates cos like i said jus now, BP ppl has alot of buses to go to town area. Taking 960 from Woodlands to Marina and to pass thru BP estate kinda irates me bcos many bus stops and many traffic lights.. grrr..
From BP to wdlands road Ind est, BP ppl can take 963, 184, 970, 75, alight at upper bt timah, cross over and take 961,178 or 170.
From BP to Bt Timah: 67,171, 170
I think 960 should loop at suntec city. Better right?
Suggested route: Wdlands Int - Marsiling Rise/Lane - Admiralty Rd - Wdlands Centre Rd - Wdlands Ave 3 - Wdlands Rd(kranji MRT) - 'race course link' (forgot wats the name) - BKE - PIE - Whitley Rd - Bt Timah Rd - Ophir Rd - Bugis - Bras Basah Rd - Suntec city and loop back to Woodlands.
i think SMRT should introduce one more 'speedy' service from Woodlands to town(without passing thru Bt Panjang of cos).

700A fulfills the requirement only on weekends. There's no sub for the rest.
Demand for 960 actually picks up at bt panjang. however some woodlanders would like to take 960 to town... becuase of directness and the hassle of walking a lot and transfer, -
Tibs should not have plugged 952. It was so much faster from Woodlands to Marina Centre.

For me I will do a lot
Make Sv 3 to use direct rt to DTE and Punggol (Cutting out the 357 rt)
Replacing by Sv 4, Tampines to Pasir Ris St 71 as journey for Sv 3 is too long
Extend 18 to CBD (Tampines needs more CBD bound buses after 81 is cut)
Make either 1 Paya Lebar Air Base route to do peak hour only. Their demand is pathetic between 1000-1400, 1900- -
I'm ok with that the withdrawal of 952... but at least retain the old 950 la! From wdlands to City Hall, Raffles Place and Tg Pagar by train is kinda long trip. 857 route quite well planned, I must say. It passes thru bencoolen, dhoby ghaut, city hall and suntec city. Isn't that great?
Woodlanders only got 2 town services namely 960 and 961. U try taking 961 from Wdlands to town, i can guarantee u will get nausea.. Should introduce one more express service from wdlands to town lah.
Sv 950 and 952... I have a lot of fond memories of those 2 services
Whenever i think back abt those 2 services, it brings me back the nostalgical days at city hall area... hehe....

7/ 18 combination might be too long (PTC is trying to stop this)
Same goes for 12/ 189
90/ 94, either 1 should be a Peak only service (0600-1000, 1400-2000)
But 94 should be the one as demand for 90 is as least better
