1. 350 has O405s then??? Maybe from AMDEP?Originally posted by iveco:1. Where did the NAC O405 DMs on Sv 350 in 1995/96 come from? Certainly not BNDEP?
2. Why were NAC O405 DMs running wild on BBDEP services dominated by NAC Mk 2s in 1999? Were the latter redeployed on Sv 170?
3. Are there any NAC O405 DMs left these days?
BTW, why is SBS HQ referred to as BRAM?

I remember taking 3858 on 350. If I'm not mistaken, 3918 was also serving on 350 too. Aren't all eastern feeders dominated by CRBs from BNDEP?Originally posted by freakybuses:1. 350 has O405s then??? Maybe from AMDEP?
2. Perhaps shortage of buses.
3. Nah. All turned CAC by 2002.
BRAM = BRAddell Main depot ?
BNDEP did operate O405s, in fact all depots operated O405s. Eventually the HGDEP/BNDEP O405s were moved to AMDEP and/or SLBP. Sv. 350 O405s came from BNDEP.Originally posted by iveco:1. Where did the NAC O405 DMs on Sv 350 in 1995/96 come from? Certainly not BNDEP?

bus deployments then may not be like what it is now.... you are right.. PSR feeders used to have NAC 0405DMs
2. Why were NAC O405 DMs running wild on BBDEP services dominated by NAC Mk 2s in 1999? Were the latter redeployed on Sv 170?
can u cite some examples?? then i think only 172 aqnd 175 were using NAC 0405DMs and i hink they come from soon lee/jurong bus park. JUR and BNL svcs not counted cos under jurong bus park/soon lee control.
3. Are there any NAC O405 DMs left these days?
no... all converted to CAC. controlled by AMDEP/BRAM and soon lee
BTW, why is SBS HQ referred to as BRAM?
Main i guess

There was a period when there is an influx of some 0405 into the east in the 90s. But, they don't last long.Originally posted by iveco:1. Where did the NAC O405 DMs on Sv 350 in 1995/96 come from? Certainly not BNDEP?

The shards flew inside the bus? Or they pierced the interior?Originally posted by delonchew:There was an accident on an O.405 on 350 outside NTUC Resort (now Downtown East). The right rear tyre of the O.405 exploded due to it being overpumped and it injured a young Malay boy who happened to be sitting right above the tyre.
Depends. In a nutshell all are good.Originally posted by freakybuses:Best Maintained:
OAC O405s: Feeders under AMDEP (Real peaceful plus cooling AC)
CAC O405s: Trunks under AMDEP (Feeders are vandalised and the repainting is no good)
svc 269 stil best... more OAC O405s than CACs. And the OACs are far better... hardly vandalised.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Depends. In a nutshell all are good.![]()
I saw 1 of the MB NAC perm on 225. Ok, now I wish to find out in which year those MBs and LO3x left BNDEP & HGDEP.Originally posted by ula_man:There was a period when there is an influx of some 0405 into the east in the 90s. But, they don't last long.

yeps. the feeder serving my home. but now 1 new CAC jus joined svc 269, 3836L. it served as a NAC before 269 became AC. so it is now 3OAC 2CAC instead of 4OAC 1AC.Originally posted by freakybuses:svc 269 stil best... more OAC O405s than CACs. And the OACs are far better... hardly vandalised.
