=AMDEP best, SLBP bad, BNDEP worstOriginally posted by Scania:At least slbp keeps it buses clean externally (or if you don't agree with this, , you could at least say it keeps buses better than bndep). Bndep just don't care to wash and maintain their buses, thats why some buses transferred from amdep when good turn bad at bndep
BN got so bad meh?Originally posted by freakybuses:=AMDEP best, SLBP bad, BNDEP worst![]()
BNDEP is not a depot. It is only a bus park.Originally posted by leeJZ:BNDEP is the only depot without a smaller twin...AMDEP has BRAM, BBDEP has ARBP...and SLBP is kinda tied to them also. Maybe a new LYBP (Loyang Bus Park)?
BNDEP buses are not that bad, with the exception of the OAC Scanias...SLBP Merz are not too good also.
btw speaking of the OAC Scanias, anyone seen Sv 19's Scania fleet? They seem to have ALL disappeared and replaced by BNDEP SP Mk3s...
Why not call them BNBP or HGBP then?Originally posted by SBS9818A:BNDEP is not a depot. It is only a bus park.
Depots/bus parks under AMDEP are BNDEP and BRAM, depots/bus parks under BBDEP are HGDEP, ARBP and SLBP.
They'd rather use original codes as if a name change were to take place, thousands of timesheets have to be reprinted.Originally posted by leeJZ:Why not call them BNBP or HGBP then?
And you think they will reprint, SBS T's main aim is to safe money on buses only and spend a large amount on the NEL (in which most of the revenue of buses is transferred to the NEL costs).Originally posted by SBS9818A:They'd rather use original codes as if a name change were to take place, thousands of timesheets have to be reprinted.
They should have probably waited for NEL to built after Punggol / Sengkang is fully developed...rite now still short of about 80,000 rides per day.Originally posted by Scania:And you think they will reprint, SBS T's main aim is to safe money on buses only and spend a large amount on the NEL (in which most of the revenue of buses is transferred to the NEL costs).

I can say slbp is b/w the acceptable and good range, you haven't seen the good buses of slbp (which is a good number of MK2s, Mk5s), aint you. As for bndep, I can say the way it treats most of its buses is very bad (that the only bus I can mention proudly about bndep is 9608P), the others are very poorly maintained, both externally and internally, the lucky thing is that amdep and hgdep takes over some of the services that go to Bedok, Tampines and Pasir RisOriginally posted by sbs&tibs:BN got so bad meh?
SLBP Merz are yucks...LOs & Mk5s are ok.Originally posted by Scania:I can say slbp is b/w the acceptable and good range, you haven't seen the good buses of slbp (which is a good number of MK2s, Mk5s), aint you. Seems like you need to do some homework yourself before stating some facts here.Originally posted by leeJZ:They should have probably waited for NEL to built after Punggol / Sengkang is fully developed...rite now still short of about 80,000 rides per day.
A bias opinion you have there.Originally posted by Scania:I can say slbp is b/w the acceptable and good range, you haven't seen the good buses of slbp (which is a good number of MK2s, Mk5s), aint you. Another one with bias opinion.Originally posted by leeJZ:SLBP Merz are yucks...LOs & Mk5s are ok.
I agree that BNDEP exteriors are poorly maintained, but interiors are still quite acceptable.
Why are those bias?Originally posted by service_238:Another one with bias opinion.
To me, one problem why BNDEP mantainence is like that is because of the people running the place there. With such people, u get such buses. With AMDEP kinda people, u get -u-know-what- kinda buses.

surprisingly, BRAM is commonly known as Toa Payoh Depot among SBST staff. (overheard @ TPY int yesterday)Originally posted by sbst275:I saw this before on the yellow pages
BNDEP is the Eastern district HQ. AMDEP is the Central District HQ. BRAM is HQ bus park.
Can say so, except some like 139, almost all are based at BRAM. But BRAM, has BSH services.Originally posted by gynobcard:surprisingly, BRAM is commonly known as Toa Payoh Depot among SBST staff. (overheard @ TPY int yesterday)
