Hey there everyone!Originally posted by sbs&tibs:I noticed that some bus had installed third brake light.
Bus that had 3rd brake light installed:
857: 448A
911: 447C, 456B
others: 451P
At the middle of the rear, perhaps just after the seat?Originally posted by supremebull:Do a favour for the n00b here who does not live in the North and tell him where the 3rd brake light is located on the bus
Could anybody post any pics? A thousand thanks
Quite obviously right? It seems JB has become a dumping ground for "older" buses of our bus companies. I presume the Sv. 950 fleet would use only about 30 buses.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:I can conclude that those MB 405s for sv 950 are mainly from WLDEP.
lolz try nissan diesels on 950Originally posted by SBS9818A:Quite obviously right? It seems JB has become a dumping ground for "older" buses of our bus companies. I presume the Sv. 950 fleet would use only about 30 buses.
You'll have a busload of unhappy, grumbling passengers.Originally posted by gynobcard:lolz try nissan diesels on 950![]()
Keep a look out for Sv 170 and you can see for yourself how different the bus is from the rear.Originally posted by supremebull:Do a favour for the n00b here who does not live in the North and tell him where the 3rd brake light is located on the bus

Sv. 170 buses have their third brake light mounted below the rear window, ie externally, while the TIBS ones are internal.Originally posted by ula_man:Keep a look out for Sv 170 and you can see for yourself how different the bus is from the rear.
If you are in the east/west, you might see some on sv 7,16,33,65, 95,96,Clementi feeders too.
Does 458X has any 3rd brake lights or not?Originally posted by bus911:TIB458X(911).. also have red-white stripes emergency exit

Yes, of courseOriginally posted by sbs&tibs:Does 458X has any 3rd brake lights or not?
Bendies are unlikely to enter JB.Originally posted by bus911:TIB458X(911).. also have red-white stripes emergency exit

Eh just for your info I love UDs and I am happy to take themOriginally posted by SBS9818A:You'll have a busload of unhappy, grumbling passengers.
I think so. They have no choice but to use older Hispano O405s due to the emergency-exit requirement. Wonder what SBST will use after they put Striders on Sv. 170 after Mk IIIs are phased out, since none of their new single-decks have exit doors.Originally posted by rancour5:i think malaysia requires buses to have emergency exit by law... and volgrens dunt hv these exits...onli older Hispano Merc hv these exits,,the older 1s tt y they install the 3rd brake lights?
Maybe they will install emergency doors on a few examples of their next SD purchase?Originally posted by SBS9818A:I think so. Oh, I didn't know that there is an emergency exit door requirementOriginally posted by SBS9818A:I think so. They have no choice but to use older Hispano O405s due to the emergency-exit requirement.
