SMRTB buses that have third brake light

I noticed that some bus had installed third brake light.
Bus that had 3rd brake light installed:
167: 451P
700: 454G, 461K, 463E
857: 448A, 460M
961: 447C, 449Y
963: 452L
970: 456B, 457Z, 458X -

Basically... The third brake lights actually indicates that Service 950 is 100% confirmed and would be starting real soon, since vehicles going into Malaysia requires compulsory third brake lights. Me sources tells me future Service 950 service captains had gone to Malaysia for their blood test to get their Class E licences, therefore Maybe, we should compile an entire fleet of buses with third brake lights to determine the number of buses used on Service 950, shall we?

I assume these buses will be quickly repainted to SMRT livery?

i do believe the repainting will come pretty soon. and as expected, the oldest O405's are down for Svc 950. -
I can conclude that those MB 405s for sv 950 are mainly from WLDEP.

If you are in the east/west, you might see some on sv 7,16,33,65, 95,96,Clementi feeders too. -

dun expect bendies or any of the newer buses on tis service. i suppose tis is wat they call a "junkyard" service.

i think malaysia requires buses to have emergency exit by law... and volgrens dunt hv these exits...onli older Hispano Merc hv these exits,,the older 1s tt y they install the 3rd brake lights?

I think so. They have no choice but to use older Hispano O405s due to the emergency-exit requirement.
