462B on 162 (am sp) replacing 2803M 2803M on 131 (am 162) 1741P on 147 (ar ex-285) 1134Z on 851 (am 67) 7278X on 74 (i'd never seen tis VO2x before on 74.) 810E on 154 (first time i saw Mk3's on 154 and surprisingly it's perm) -
154 has MK3 aft LO2x was retired. Now a NAC Mk2, MK3, MK4, MK5 takes its place. The SBST E guide is changing the frequency again. Most services have their headway increased like 18, it is now 11-15 mins (Off Peak). 238 frequency is now 2-10 mins at night -

I STILL saw Mk5s on svc 8, not a full Mk3 fleet as you claimed.
The DD fleet is not getting lesser, still the same old thing. 3 LOs and 3 VOs.
LOs : 9150 (Harry Potter), 9142 (ITE), 9083 (SBST drivers ad)
VOs : 9510 (Star Award), 9526 (SBST), 9260 (SBST) -

But I actually dun see any need for double decks on Sv 8 as TP is going to introduce its shuttle service. Sv 8 often has brunching or empty trips at the Paya Lebar - Toa Payoh leg as of stiff compeition even during peak hrs. -

i daresay svc 8 will not become full Mk3 because it is one of SBST favorite services. -

This has to wait until whether TP is going to start a shuttle service from Tampines MRT. By then, Sv 8 frequency will not be that good already as along the rt, it is facing compeition as well... and for your info, svc 8 is the only link from TPY to Ubi, and it is a faster link to paya Lebar than svc 28.
go and complain about something else like svc 97, on weekends you can have the whole upper deck to yourself fo the whole trip. -

MK4 may be going to oth services, I'm not surprised as SBST is adjusting its fleets now. You can see Scanias at 145 quite regularly now also.
The MK3 today stands at abt 5, it is quite sudden
The 6 mins frequency is because you can't have buses going back empty to Tampines for no reasons as there are still passengers, then they are making a complete loss unlike industrial services like 90, 91, 94, JIS. -

I'm not complaining, there are tons of passengers complaing of this to CRC which my friend is tired of it. Also as what I have said before, SBST dun listen to just 1 complain overall. Because you know why...it's very irritating to see you ranting perpetually over Service 8 and the status of those PAC...What would stop you from posting these things again? When service 8 receives all single decks or better still withdrawn? How abt putting VSO and Tridents or MK 4 DM 3500 on those PAC service so they become FAC?
If that does not satisfy you, what then? I suggest you seek therapy or see a shrink...because such obsession is unhealthy...

To SBST275, it does get a bit irritating if one continuously harp on a certain subject. there is no wrong championing a particular point but perhaps know where to stop is the key... I certainly do not want to be pelted with rotten eggs by the brothers here just because I was to campon the point that I want All the VSOs to pass by my house. Many issues are beyond our control. -

VSO's rts are sometimes really sort of like wrong (Timings), like on 154 during sch holidays -
SBS 519 on Svc 136 (AM ???)
SBS 1805H on Svc 156 (??)
SBS 2810S on Svc 22 (AM 162) -
Some interesting finds from my check at SBST E guide again
Most svs have their frequency adjusted: 2, 3, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 24, 26, 36, 39, 40, 42, 53, 55, 62, 69, 70, 72, 74, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 93, 96, 100, 103, 107, 123, 130, 132, 136, 157, 158, 502. But only 93 have their frequency better. Others had its worst, night frequency is now between 12-17 mins. AM off peak frequency is now between 8-15 mins
Another thing, 93 departs at 0520 (Weekdays and Sat) from HarbourFront instead of 0550. Buses from Enous will leave at 0550 instead of 0600 -
SBS 3796T on SV 53 At nite..(dunno this bus originated frm whr)

Final Word:
Service 8 needs DDs
Service 8 has moderate to high commuter demand at certain stretches
Do not count the eggs before they are hatched.
Do not assume until u have throughly seen the entire fleet. Info will be counted as void (in terms of mass change deployment) unless all regos can be accounted for.
As Toa Payoh i/c i dare say Service 8 has moderate to high demand in the morning and evening.
