But there was once, I was onboard service 97. A fire broke out at a shophouse along Serangoon Rd and a stretch of the road had to be closed. So the bus was diverted to ply Sungei Rd, Ophir Rd, Victoria St, Kallang Rd, Lavender St and back to normal route.
