curious.. isn't toa payoh interchange built inside a building?
dream interchanges for my ideas... well, i think since marina south is developing, moving shenton way ter down south is possible.. but i hope that'll be better done after the marina south road networks are better developed.
the marymount interchange thingy.. isn't it a bit too extravagant for an interchange? if you notice, marymount and bishan's distance is just like clarke quay and chinatown.. since 605 is removed and sin ming road terminal will be (left to rot?), we can perhaps better utilise the bishan interchange (the 3 berths only serve 410G/W, 53/56, 54/55.. ) and provide more extensions to marymount and sin ming. currently sin ming only served by 410 and 130, marymount road 54,53,55,74,... (diff parts of marymount)
i will think thatthe bus terminals of the northwest can be better integrated as 1 terminal, like 980 at admiralty road west, 167 at sem road end, 175 at lim chu kang (have those 5 blocks there been vacated?). maybe can have a kranji interchange which will house 980, 167 extended/amended; 175 passes thru, then also a few berths for the johor-bound buses (no sg-bound!
), also a few new services which will link ppl from kranji to woodlands/cck.

Marymount Rd also has svc 851, svc 852, svc 13.
Sembawang Interchange is currently being built, and it is very likely that svc 167 and 980 will shift there. With that, Sembawang Rd End & Admiralty Rd West Terminals can be shut down.
Lim Chu Kang Rd End currently is mainly a military area, no more HDB flats there.
I suppose Kranji Terminal can be built, housing 170X (which IMO can be renumbered) and other CW services.
well it was last reported being built...Originally posted by service_238:Apparantly i still see a big piece of vacant land next to the MRT station. build what?
U should travel more next time.
Well the last time I went by there ( less than a week ago ) its still grassy land. So you say leh?Originally posted by leeJZ:well it was last reported being built...

Originally posted by kuekj:Well.. sad to say.. New Facilities
7. The following facilities are proposed in Sembawang:-
[*]A bus interchange is being planned and it will be integrated with the Sembawang MRT Station;
[*]A network of park connectors;
[*]Three neighbourhood parks, one of which located south of the Sembawang MRT Station will be developed within the next 4 to 5 years;
[*]A primary school and a secondary school, both are expected to be ready by 1998;
[*]A fishing port at Attap Valley Road. where is this road?!
since there is no more height limit, why 151 still only provide single deck services?Originally posted by delonchew:Lower Kent Ridge Road does not have the 4m height limit anymore. The bridge linking the former Kent Ridge Hall and the current Alumni building has been removed more than a year ago.
Anyway, there is already 188 from HBF to Kent Ridge and I can safely assure you that the loads are not very high.
Maybe becos Kent Ridge Cres is winding? Anyway, 151 doesn't ply Lower Kent Ridge area. It is served by 95. Furthermore, since when did 188 enter Kent Ridge? It plys on the outside of NUS along CLE Rd, AFAIK.Originally posted by medicheng:since there is no more height limit, why 151 still only provide single deck services?
