It u turns there to go back to CCK or WDL, it does not loop thereOriginally posted by tspg:Anybody here has taken bus 925 before? The loop service from woodlands interchange turn around Kranji Reservoir. I used to take that bus every day.
SBNP ratherOriginally posted by tspg:Now i think they go to Kranji on Sundays and Public holidays only. There are two routes running at the same time. One bus 925 will go from woodlands to cck the next bus 925 will be a loop service from woodlands to kranji back to woodlands. You must check with the bus driver before you board.
A few years ago it was a loop service from Woodlands and turn around at carpark at Kranji dam. There is no BS.
The bus stop is inside the car park. No shelter.Originally posted by sbst275:It u turns there to go back to CCK or WDL, it does not loop there

My guess: the bus stops are used by the companies' buses to ferry workers to and fro the MRT station.Originally posted by sbst275:Ya
Again, pte buses are still barred from using Bus Int and bus stops actually. That's why the 648 scheme B bus doesn't enter the TPY intOriginally posted by tranquilice:My guess: the bus stops are used by the companies' buses to ferry workers to and fro the MRT station.
That's not logical, the MRT can never be able to serve everywhere (Like PLAB or CACC). Buses are still the most direct to anywhere.Originally posted by ^tamago^:probably some LTA's requirement that bus stops be located within a certain distance from MRT stations to enable hassle-free transfers to buses since MRT forms the backbone of the transport system with buses being like feeders to MRT.
When the current TPY started, the scheme B queues are present. It was after 2002 that the plates are removed.Originally posted by sbst275:Again, pte buses are still barred from using Bus Int and bus stops actually. That's why the 648 scheme B bus doesn't enter the TPY int
Daytime off peak: 8-9 min. There're certain times during the daytime off peak that this occurs. However in the mid afternoon its usually 5-8 min.Originally posted by sbst275:That's not logical, the MRT can never be able to serve everywhere (Like PLAB or CACC). Also, the MRT frequency is quite bad nowadays as well, 7 mins on the SMRT when NEL is 6 min
Siao, NEL the most is 7 mins. Most of the time is 6 minsOriginally posted by service_238:Daytime off peak: 8-9 min. There're certain times during the daytime off peak that this occurs. However in the mid afternoon its usually 5-8 min.
If what you mentioned is true, then where do the buses stop? Why are the Scheme B plates put up at bus stops then?Originally posted by sbst275:Again, pte buses are still barred from using Bus Int and bus stops actually. That's why the 648 scheme B bus doesn't enter the TPY int
The Scheme B buses never uses the BS really, it is like the former 638, they stop at the back of the 3rd bus and leave after completing berthing and alighting there.Originally posted by tranquilice:If what you mentioned is true, then where do the buses stop? Referring to your sentence, for example, why Sentosa and Ngee Ann Poly shuttle services can use HarbourFront and Clementi interchanges respectively?
I have saw for myself scheme B buses entering bus bays to pick and alight pax. So your statement is not correct in my opinion.Originally posted by sbst275:The Scheme B buses never uses the BS really, it is like the former 638, they stop at the back of the 3rd bus and leave after completing berthing and alighting there.
