You can alwyaz take a cab IF you are not happy with the buses.. like what ppl had already say.. the driver is doing that for the sake of making sure that the bus will continue until it reaches the terminating point. if he didnt do that, bus break down. Ppl start to complain again..Originally posted by bismarck:i cant be bothered to see air pressure or wahtever crap.
stupid driver..
Well SBS has 3 bendies. 997, 998 and 999 all serving service 18Originally posted by The_Bus_Guide:The reason why TIBS didn't opt for DDs is that they don't have the proper facilities for them. Bendys are not much of a problem because they are single decks after all. Buying DDs would mean the need to renovate their depots to accomodate them.
The same goes for SBS. Having designed their depots for DDs with the proper facilites and equipment to match, what will become of them if bendys were bought instead? They have toyed with the idea but found it more feasible to stick with DDs; although I would like SBS to purchase more bendys for those high passenger routes with height restrictions (eg: 105).
UNCLE.. pls dont anyhow post anyhow you like.. 997A is a Volvo B10M 14.5m 3axle SIngle Deck BUS.. NOT A BENDY liek what youve said.. and... Just because 998 and 999 are on Svc.18 doesnt mean that 997 is a Svc18 Bus.. Both 998 and 999 are Bndep bus while 997A is a Svc62 bus belonging to Hgdep.Originally posted by CAIX:Well SBS has 3 bendies. 997, 998 and 999 all serving service 18

[b]Comment: A SBST bendy bus used to ply Service 195, but that was a long time ago. It appears that SBST doesn't want its bendies to ply long routes. Funny thing is, Service 195 isn't under BNDPT(sp?) control.

Yes, about leaking waters, I notice when raining very heavily, some of the SD & DD buses will start to leak from the celling.Originally posted by kenny_cai:Complaint: Leaky air conditioners on older SBST DDs. Certain seats, especially the upper deck, got so wet that nobody would even look at it. It was SBST 65, and the bus regristration number, I can only recall 92XX B.

today, i noticed the timings of CT8 has been revised to 30-40 mins.. theres no fixed time as in: arriving at Big Mac centre every xx:20pm, xx:50pmOriginally posted by 105090:yes i have a complain about CT8 timings.
A lot of time it happened. say fm chinatown is 1600 departs. but at 1555, i see the CT8 bus turns into upp cross street! have to wait 35 mins for nxt bus.
also fm AMK, reach AMK stn is 1221, but bus will arrive at 1215. waits another 30 mins.
if the bus is later say 1605, its still ok, but to depart early means commuters has to wait extra 30 mins, making CT buses a slower choice than MRT..
i tot CT BCs are more responsible and has a better personality, and with their short route and relax schedule, departing early isnt good when freq is 30 mins, not 10mins.
