Woodlands -> Tanah Merah

  Hi Bus enthusiasts, I am starting work at this company located near Expo (Changi South) but I'm residing in Woodlands. Which route would be the most cost-and-time-effective for me?

  u can try SMRT 966 from woodlands regional interchange, travel to eunos MRT and take train from there to EXPO, or u can stop over infront of SIEMENS, take SBS 23 to Tampines... then the rest is up to u...
  
  Oya, travel time from woodlands to eunos >> 30 mins + train to EXPO >> 15 mins

  168 from Woodlands - Tampines, transfer Sv. 38? Or Sv. 966 + Sv. 24 at Eunos MRT, though that will be longer than 966 -> MRT.

  Actually you can take MRT altogether.
  
  NSL - EWL - CAS connection
  Woodlands - City Hall - Tanah Merah - Expo

  MRT or 24 to Expo (must walk to Sims Ave East)
  
  966 to Jln Eunos
  25/854 to Bedok Int
  35 to Xilin Ave
  
  168 to Tampines Ave 7
  8 or 18 or 38 to Tampines Ave 2
  12 to Expo
  
  168 to Tampines Ave 7

  Perhaps I did not state clearly, I need to alight at Tanah Merah MRT Station, because I can take the shuttle service to my workplace from there.
  
  Either that or Expo station, then I walk to my building, which is roughly 15 minutes away.

  Yes
  
  However, if you want smooth journey then take MRT (More than 1 hr) directly from Woodlands to Expo (Transfer at City Hall and Tanah Merah)

  Alternative is 168 to Tampines Ave 5, transfer 31, but MRT from Tampines would prob be faster. 168 freq is also more stable than 966.

  My suggestion:
  
  Take 966 to Jln Eunos, walk to Sims Ave/Sims Ave East transfer 24.
  
  966 will cost 45 min max.
  
  Buses depart WDL on average on the :05 :20 :35 :50 of every hour.
  
  24 ride costs a max of 15 min. Enjoy
