No the new budget airline terminal that was just announced.Originally posted by tranquilice:You mean T3 Changi Airport?
Where in Changi Airport is it at?Originally posted by leeJZ:No the new budget airline terminal that was just announced.
Probably going to be shuttle buses from the main terminals.
I think it is going to be built somewhere off Terminal 2, around the ramp parking area there.Originally posted by tranquilice:Where in Changi Airport is it at?
Got space there?.....hmm.Originally posted by leeJZ:I think it is going to be built somewhere off Terminal 2, around the ramp parking area there.
Maybe as a replacement stop to the one along Airport Blvd (Return rt)Originally posted by ^tamago^:my guess is no. they will keep it as a secondary terminal to the main terminal with probably direct public bus service to city ruled out to keep costs low by not building bus bays for them.
wake up. budget terminal is to serve budget airlines. shuttle buses are for passengers to go to the budget terminal from T1 or T2 WITHIN the parking bays for the planes. Go look at Haneda Airport in Tokyo n u will seeOriginally posted by sbst275:Will current svs be diverted to serve there?
There will be shuttles to serve bet T1 - T2 and B.T

Berita Harian reported that public buses WILL serve the new budget terminal, slated for completion in 2006. The new single-storey terminal will be constructed beside the SATS Inflight Kitchen, which is on the T2 side of the airport. T3 is being constructed opposite T2.
Just move the bus stop at Airport Blvd (To City) into the terminal... But terminal 3... I think, just build a integrated terminalOriginally posted by gynobcard:well, we'll have to look @ the design and final location of the terminal before we can conclude so. given the current arrangement of roads in CGA, it will be a headache to divert traffic
well mr, its not a simple soln of just shifting bus stops. the traffic plan also has to be taken into consideration. Newspaper reports have already announced that a new bus terminal will be built at T3, in addition to a 10-station monorail linking the 3 terminalsOriginally posted by sbst275:Just move the bus stop at Airport Blvd (To City) into the terminal... Monorail? I thought skytrain. I remembered report in the straits times 2002or3 that they(airport) are going to upgrade skytrain ,the tracks still the same only different train and 24hours system.Originally posted by gynobcard:well mr, its not a simple soln of just shifting bus stops. the traffic plan also has to be taken into consideration.
