now 107 acts as a substitute to 97 from hougang to raffles place. -

those feeders can make do with NAC Scanias
apparantly 37 uses spare buses on weekdays. that's where the NAC Scanias come into play. Same logic for 90, with the exception that 90's buses are not spare.
How many times must i tell u that each depot has its own constraints?? They're trying their best to fulfill the commuters. However, a handful of them will still lu-gi...

107 demand during off peak hours / weekends is MUCH MUCH better than 90.
8 does not have very low demand on Sundays - it has average demand. It is a valuable feeder service in Tampines. The weekend and off peak demands of 90 is what I call very low demand.
Although I agree with you that the VSO should stay on 31 which is mainly a school bus / leisure route, where as 8 is mainly a feeder / industrial service. -

I have contacts with SBST staff, you answer me this... Why insist that 107 has high demand? They have adjusted many times (With lesser buses everytime) during peak hrs? The frequency is now 11-14 mins. But I do know that off peak demand are higher, but peak hr, the demand is 2 times lower. See by time

8 demand is quite good in Tampines / Bedok. Peak hr demand should be very good as well if not SBST wouldnt deploy them at 5min freq during morning peak.
btw when did you take the svc 8 bus? Maybe its a bunched up trip. -

and let me tell u that although off peak is rather average, u wait and see during peak hours... striders can have standees til the door and also with the upper deck of the VO almost full with standees on the lower deck. if you are going to send a feedback to SBST, by all means do so. Because they're NOT going to entertain you on this topic. -
