There is only East and West now.Originally posted by sbst275:I'm confused, I thought the orinigal Central, West, East districts are still as bef?
but i also think it's slbp. one of the svc 7 drivers from bbdep i spoke to recently lamented that last time when bbdep was hq, they could do their routine medical check-ups there but now they had to go over to slbp to do their check-ups (probably cos slbp is newer also so they shifted it there). of cos, he complained how far & remote slbp is.Originally posted by sbst275:BBDEP, look at the recruitment drive for BC at Boon Keng MRT
Just imagine i've to rush all the way from Punggol to SLBP just to get the learn svs forms not to mention BB,Haiz WTH.Originally posted by ^tamago^:but i also think it's slbp. one of the svc 7 drivers from bbdep i spoke to recently lamented that last time when bbdep was hq, they could do their routine medical check-ups there but now they had to go over to slbp to do their check-ups (probably cos slbp is newer also so they shifted it there). of cos, he complained how far & remote slbp is.
So, HG is West and BNDEP is East. Funny as Hougang feeders are in the east. So BRAM is now under East Dist?Originally posted by Yusry:There is only East and West now.
East - BN, BR, AM
West - SL, BB, AR, HG
BRAM is attached to AMDEP so of course it'd be under East District right?Originally posted by sbst275:So, HG is West and BNDEP is East. Funny as Hougang feeders are in the east. So BRAM is now under East Dist?
You can't really say so, some are fully BRAM like 90, 231, 232, 235Originally posted by SBS9818A:BRAM is attached to AMDEP so of course it'd be under East District right?![]()
I believe 7 is a joint BB/HG ops as MB O305s were ever deployed. Similar story with 197 (JR(now SL)/HG).Originally posted by ^tamago^:but i also think it's slbp. one of the svc 7 drivers from bbdep i spoke to recently lamented that last time when bbdep was hq, they could do their routine medical check-ups there but now they had to go over to slbp to do their check-ups (probably cos slbp is newer also so they shifted it there). of cos, he complained how far & remote slbp is.
dun think so. bndep is very packed alrd.Originally posted by iveco:I believe 7 is a joint BB/HG ops as MB O305s were ever deployed. Similar story with 197 (JR(now SL)/HG).
What will happen to 7, 33 & 197 with the change of depot? Go under BN as they are BDK svcs?
in short, bram is an 'extension' of amdep, same story for bbdep and arbp.Originally posted by sbst275:You can't really say so, some are fully BRAM like 90, 231, 232, 235
I see, it is just a bus park though SBST Hq is thereOriginally posted by service_238:in short, bram is an 'extension' of amdep, same story for bbdep and arbp.
In addition, bus 32 was transferred to HG depot. 197 was originally from HGdepot until they transferred , forgot which year , but the svc is back with hgdepot.Originally posted by leeJZ:If I'm not wrong, svc 197 was BNDEP until svc 9 was transferred from HG to BN, and svc 197 was transferred to HG in exchange for it.
Did 32 move over to HGDEP in exchange for 40? I remember B10Ms on 9 & 40 and Scanias on 32 in the past.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:In addition, bus 32 was transferred to HG depot. 197 was originally from HGdepot until they transferred , forgot which year , but the svc is back with hgdepot.
For svc 66, Merz and Mk5s are from SLBP, Mk4 DMs / Striders are from HGDEP.Originally posted by iveco:Did 32 move over to HGDEP in exchange for 40? I remember B10Ms on 9 & 40 and Scanias on 32 in the past.
66 is from HGDEP? The Mk 5s are not from SLBP?
Also, were BN & HG together in the past? (BRAM/AM & BB/AR kind of relationship)
1) I don't think so. All along I think 40 is in BNDEP. 32 used to be in BNDEP.Originally posted by iveco:Did 32 move over to HGDEP in exchange for 40? I remember B10Ms on 9 & 40 and Scanias on 32 in the past.

It doesn't make much sense for EUNOS svcs to go over to AMDEP. Next to BNDEP there is an empty land. The govt make decide to give SBST to expand its territory. Don't send poor eunos svcs to AMDEP! Expand BN! Send BDK Svcs back to BNDEP so maybe eunos svcs could remain at HG!Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:Well, Eunos is nearer to Hougang depot then AMK depot. That is for sure.
That one depends on how fast can BNDEP be completed, reallyOriginally posted by sbs&tibs:It doesn't make much sense for EUNOS svcs to go over to AMDEP. Next to BNDEP there is an empty land. BDK has 4 or 5 svcs deployed from HGDEP whereas SGN has 7 or 8. Sending BDK svcs back to BN while allowing EUN svcs to stay on at HG won't help much either. How big is HGDEP, in the first place?Originally posted by sbs&tibs:It doesn't make much sense for EUNOS svcs to go over to AMDEP. Next to BNDEP there is an empty land...Expand BN! if a change in deployment goes over to a certain depot,Originally posted by sbs&tibs:64, which is under EUNOS route group, I wonder would it go over to AMDEP. I hope not.
Dont forget all HG services @ Bedok are longhaul services (7 32 33 66 197) while Serangoon services are shorter svcs.Originally posted by iveco:BDK has 4 or 5 svcs deployed from HGDEP whereas SGN has 7 or 8. Also, what about Sims Place and Geylang Fringe routes? Will they continue to make use of Dennis superbuses?
why is it that 7 must be snuffed and 18 be extended?? dun forget that even if you kill the svc, the buses whill still be physically ard. so in theory, these buses will still be ard in HGOriginally posted by iveco:It is likely that HG may need extra space for the deployment change and could see some changes to some BDK routes. I can bet on 7 getting snuffed and superceded by an extended 18.
then the 64 drivers will be in kow pey kow boo mode.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:64, which is under EUNOS route group, I wonder would it go over to AMDEP. I hope not.
the trident deployment for 64 and 62 isnt really large.. so unless if 64 moves with EUN to AMDEP, you prolly would still see tridents ard. as for 62, is it under SKG or PGL route group (if any??). then the tridents will not moveOriginally posted by iveco:Also, what about Sims Place and Geylang Fringe routes?
