introduction of service 183; withdrawal of express 507

With effect from Sunday 22th August 2004, New Trunk Service 183 will be introduced to cater to the rapid development and commuter demand of Toh Guan Ind Estate.
It provides links between Toh Guan and Jurong East, Clementi and Kent Ridge.
On the same day, Express Service 507 will be withdrawn.
183: Jurong East - Kent Ridge (Loop)
Via Jurong East St 13, Jurong East Central, Toh Guan Rd, Toh Guan Rd East, Old Toh Tuck Rd, Toh Tuck Ave, C'wealth Ave West, Clementi Rd (Loop)
Operating hours: 0545 - 2330 hrs daily
Peak: 12 min
Off Peak: 15 min

I would rather 502 be plugged instead. It's virtually useless now. If not, turn it to trunk.

i find it hard to imagine that svc 502 loads are even better than svc 518 (502 freq is better than 51
when svc 518 is actually at least half worthwhile. -
typical travel times between Orchard MRT and Clementi MRT:
Svc 7: ~27mins
Svc 105: ~24mins
Svc 106: ~25mins
Svc 502: ~19mins -

Services 10 and 183 can be merged to become: service 10 (Tampines - Jurong East), so that service 10 can serve Clementi again and Jurong East pax has another link to the east.

Meaning service 95 will still ply or no longer ply to Kent Ridge terminal? But during peak hrs, forget abt taking 7, has to stop at almost all bus stop -
why do they wanna remove bus 507? It's the only direct bus that goes to my workplace. Everyday, during the peak hours, the bus is already so packed, this shows tat there is demand for the bus!??! The new bus 183 is not even covering half of the route of 507? any way we can change their mind? any1 can advise is going to the mp or complaining to the newspaper can work or not?!?!? how??? any advice?? -
They are getting out of their mind. 183 does not concern anything to 507 at all.

Where do you live and where is your workplace? We can suggest an alternative for you.
