Then what do you think is the actual reason SBST want to withdrawn Express 507?Originally posted by sbst275:They already have weak ridership, you think they are going to give up actually?
I have actually enquired them through mail. May have to wait for 3 weeksOriginally posted by tranquilice:Then what do you think is the actual reason SBST want to withdrawn Express 507?
how many times do we have to remind ppl to check their facts b4 posting. if u havent a slightest idea for nuts, dont make sweeping statements unless u r a broom.Originally posted by sbst275:They already have weak ridership, you think they are going to give up actually?
Maybe longer or even don't reply. Sent SBST a feedback in May, no reply, then sent another email to ask why, still no reply.Originally posted by sbst275:I have actually enquired them through mail. May have to wait for 3 weeks
I wonder what alternative services they will take from next Monday.Originally posted by gynobcard:how many times do we have to remind ppl to check their facts b4 posting. if u havent a slightest idea for nuts, dont make sweeping statements unless u r a broom.
sv 507 buses are FULL in the AM peak. my bus today had 50 pax. previous trip too. comments please?
Youn better check SBST website on their operations showing monthly average daily ridership. Bus ridership has fallen to 1.956 million FYIOriginally posted by gynobcard:how many times do we have to remind ppl to check their facts b4 posting. if u havent a slightest idea for nuts, dont make sweeping statements unless u r a broom.

If is regarding poor services, fast reply comes. Regular people, they also reply fast with a standard reply. But people will wtite a double blasting reply back as they are already very angry!Originally posted by tranquilice:Maybe longer or even don't reply. for goodness sake... i said this before... stop toking with ur nose in the air... if u wanna diss ppl off u certainly have succeeded.Originally posted by sbst275:Youn better check SBST website on their operations showing monthly average daily ridership. Bus ridership has fallen to 1.956 million FYI

Others, they will take their time. In fact, they lost one of my feedback in June
507 is a ONE Direction peak hr service FYIOriginally posted by SBST390:for goodness sake... i said this before... stop toking with ur nose in the air... if u wanna diss ppl off u certainly have succeeded.
dun quote a macroscopic picture to analyse a particular svc.
507 does has good ridership going into town... i rather they keep it one-directional cos the load back to BNL might not be desirable...
btw... 507 can be replaced with 198/98 - 97 connection
Can extend service 97 to Boon Lay (via Jurong East Central and then following service 507 route) and also becomes a bi-directional service by terminating at Marina Centre.Originally posted by SBST390:for goodness sake... i said this before... stop toking with ur nose in the air... if u wanna diss ppl off u certainly have succeeded.

SBST390 means operates during AM peak only. Cancel the PM peak service.Originally posted by sbst275:507 is a ONE Direction peak hr service FYI
This affects their earnings you see, a profitable rt they want to give up?
Can...Originally posted by tranquilice:Can extend service 97 to Boon Lay (via Jurong East Central and then following service 507 route) and also becomes a bi-directional service by terminating at Marina Centre.
then can perhaps merge with 107 or 56, can improve svc 97's VERY poor loads on weekends.Originally posted by tranquilice:Can extend service 97 to Boon Lay (via Jurong East Central and then following service 507 route) and also becomes a bi-directional service by terminating at Marina Centre.
I have seen the PM Peak, certain trips have very high loading but lesser than AM PeakOriginally posted by tranquilice:SBST390 means operates during AM peak only. Cancel the PM peak service.
107? Back to pre NEL days which Transit is not doing soOriginally posted by leeJZ:then can perhaps merge with 107 or 56, can improve svc 97's VERY poor loads on weekends.
the old svc 97 used to duplicate Little India -> Farrer Park -> Boon Keng, but not if you merge the current one with svc 107.Originally posted by sbst275:107? Back to pre NEL days which Transit is not doing so
56, rt have to be changed to use Temasek Blvd, Rochor Rd, Beach Rd
huys oot liaoOriginally posted by leeJZ:the old svc 97 used to duplicate Little India -> Farrer Park -> Boon Keng, but not if you merge the current one with svc 107.
svc 56/97 can just skip Marina Center via Nicoll Highway, pax who want to go to Marina Center can walk in from Nicoll Highway.

sorry... its to bring us back to 183 and 507... type wrongly..Originally posted by tranquilice:Meaning of this?
That stretch, there is bus - NEL connection at Boon Keng or Potong Pasir. In fact, not all passengers complaint 97 as NEL is much much faster. Like from Hougang station, it takes just 24 mins to HBF while 97 took more than 1 hrOriginally posted by leeJZ:the old svc 97 used to duplicate Little India -> Farrer Park -> Boon Keng, but not if you merge the current one with svc 107.

507 serves Shenton Way crowd. Unless you can divert Sv 97 into Toh Guan Rd from Jurong EastOriginally posted by SBST390:for goodness sake... i said this before... stop toking with ur nose in the air... if u wanna diss ppl off u certainly have succeeded.

Alternative is to ply Marina Center both directions.Originally posted by sbst275:That stretch, there is bus - NEL connection at Boon Keng or Potong Pasir. Then, 56 would be redundant as on weekend, many take from Toa Payoh to Marina Ctr. 56 and 97 is actually to serve bth sides terminal to Marina as that's the only bus. There are guidelines on bus rt changes set by PTC such as lost of links (How are they affected? Walking dist? Convience?).
If everyone pulls out from Marina, next time if there is no buses to Marina, who to blame?
Why not? But what is the synergy behind this 56/ 97 merger?Originally posted by leeJZ:Alternative is to ply Marina Center both directions.
help sustain better loads for svc 97, which are very poor during the weekend.Originally posted by sbst275:Why not? But what is the synergy behind this 56/ 97 merger?
