WhatÂ’s on SBS 3852 P (FFw 174e 6.00 PM trip from North Bridge Rd St. AndrewÂ’s Cathedral)
- Bus came from Stamford Rd.
- Board with another fellow bus enthusiast.
- Ez-link console screwed up at the first stop. The staff onboard and another staff (both wearing the company T-shirts) who was giving out guides at the bus stop had to assist the bus captain to set the correct farestage. Took about 5 minutes to be done.
- Along the way up to Orchard Blvd, all the ez-link readers were in disabled mode (manually set by the bus captain) with both the red and green lights on, except when thereÂ’s boarding and alighting activities.
- Some passengers were allowed to alight at a stop along Farrer Rd, which is the express sector. Before alighting, they were informed by the staff about this matter.
- Route of express sector taken: Holland Rd, Farrer Rd, Adam Rd, PIE, Bt Timah Link.
- Bus overshot the slip road leading to PIE (Jurong) and went straight to Adam flyover! The staff onboard had to alight to help divert traffic so that the bus captain can reverse the bus to turn into the slip road.
- Whole trip took about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
