History of Toa Payoh and Bishan routes

I have been scouring the forum but I cannot find any active thread that talks about the history of routes. I'm quite curious. More mainly the feeder services for now.. I read from another thread that there used to be a service 230 in toa payoh, but it was scrapped after a while. anyone can enlighten me on this?
were there any additions/alterations to the feeders over the years, apart from the removal of service 232G/W and 237 to become 232?
as for bishan.. how did the bus scene change over the years? as in, were there extra services in the 80s? did 56 use to function as a intra-town? (read from some source.) how much changes over the years? -

SERVICE 57 (Bishan - Sin Ming Ave):
Bishan Interchange, Bishan St 13, St 11, St 21, (Marymount Lane), Upp Thomson Rd, Sin Ming Ave, Sin Ming Dr, (Sin Ming Dr), Sin Ming Rd, (Sector C), Sin Ming Dr, Sin Ming Ave, Upp Thomson Rd, (Marymount Lane), Bishan St 21, St 11, St 13 and Bishan Interchange.
NOTE: Withdrawn in 1992.
SERVICE 59 (Bishan - Jln Kayu):
Bishan Interchange, (Bishan St 13), Bishan St 11, St 21, Marymount Rd, Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, Yio Chu Kang Rd, Jln Kayu and Jln Kayu Terminal.
And return via Jln Kayu Terminal, Jln Kayu, Yio Chu Kang Rd, Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, Marymount Rd, Bishan St 21, St 11, (Bishan St 13) and Bishan Interchange.
NOTE: Now part of SBST 86 (except Ang Mo Kio - Bishan stretch). Cut short to ply between Ang Mo Kio and Jln Kayu in 1992. Taken over by TIBS on 17th Dec 1995. Extended to Sengkang and renumbered as 866 on 21 Feb 1999, which SBST took over on 25th July 1999.
SERVICE 230 (Toa Payoh - Toa Payoh Lor 8 ):
[1979] Toa Payoh Interchange, Toa Payoh Lor 6, Toa Payoh East, (Toa Payoh Lor 7), Lor 8, Access Rd, (Toa Payoh Lor 6), Lor 1, Lor 2 and Toa Payoh Interchange.
NOTE: First feeder service in Toa Payoh. Withdrawn in the 80's.
SERVICE 237 (Toa Payoh - Toa Payoh Lor 7):
Toa Payoh Interchange, Toa Payoh Lor 6, Toa Payoh East, Toa Payoh Lor 7, Lor 6 and Toa Payoh Interchange..
NOTE: Now part of SBST 232 since 2002. -
Service 56: Bishan - Toa Payoh
via Bishan St 13/11/Rd, Braddell Rd, Toa Payoh Lor 6/4/6, TPY (Loop)
Service 58: Bishan - Marina Centre
via Bishan St 11/Rd, Braddell Rd, Upp S'goon Rd, Bendemeer Rd, Lavender St, Crawford St, North Bridge Rd, Bras Basah Rd, Raffles Blvd, Marina Centre
Both were integrated in late 80s or 1990/1 to form the current SBST56 -
More likely 56 mergede with 150. I remember 150 plied Middle Rd and Thomson Rd.

239 (was there Toa Payoh Lor 9?)
toa payoh lor 1
toa payoh lor 1a
toa payoh lor 2 - 8
toa payoh lor 8a
toa payoh central
jln toa payoh.
no toa payoh lorong 9. unless u consider annex roads like lor 8a to be lor 9.

Service 58 was withdrawn and service 13 (Eunos - Ghim Moh) was amended to become Eunos - Yio Chu Kang, by covering the sector of withdrawn service 58 between Lavender St and Bishan Rd.
This is confirmed:
Service 7 was amended from Nicoll Highway to Victoria St/North Bridge Rd, to cover the sector of amended service 13 between Kallang Rd and Orchard Blvd/Tanglin Rd. -

East Lagoon Link is not searchable at the site. Have to search for other nearby roads instead.
