i see many people mention about the bus guides at the former national library site.. now that the national library's closed, any idea where are they now? like for example, are they relocated to other libraries for the time being? or still packed away at some container awaiting re-opening by the time the new library opens?
and how back-dated have you guys seen the bus guides? as in, the earliest is which year? i hope not too many bus guides are in the pulping factory now.. :-)
which years are in chinese? trad chi script or simplified chi script or somewhere in d middle? cuz i did come across some short stories written by sg/malaysian authors in the '50s who use mixed trad + simplified script.. -

Well.. i Do have 2 Guides.. dated back to the early 80s.. Hmmm.. 1 in 1984 adn the other is dated back to 1986.. In the 84 version, what i have is the chinese version.. simplified version.. for the 86 version, it is in english.. and.. i have a guide.. produced by SBS then.. i think its in the 80s.. but.. no actual year was printed.. hmmm.. it was something like a fareguide.. (Erm.. something like the bus guide tht we take from buses.. just that it is printed in the form of a book.. thats it...) the nxt latest guide was '95...

so they are on display, meaning cant use them for the time being.. maybe we can put this info as a sticky for the time being until the guides are relocated back to the new NL building.
