I was travelling around today when I alighted at Farrer Park station.. and I notice that among the 7 exits one was closed. The one which is next to exit G. When I reach ground level I realise that area is surrounded by grass. (Why would LTA/SBST want to construct a wasted exit there?!)
Then I was discussing with my father about that area. It used to be some area called Happy World (literally translate if I not wrong) then some finance company took that area over in 1986 and levelled that ground.. that area near the unused station exit is still surrounded by rusted aluminium hoardings and it's like "so wasted". The thing is, I notice that Mustafa is quite near so not viable to build some shopping centre, build some hotel also not cost effective cuz the street outside quite quiet. but still, i think got hope to spruce up that area.
curious: any possibility of constructing a bus terminal/park there? perhaps for like buses which transport the Indian workers? (It's better to have a bus park there and get all those Indian workers who spend their weekend freetime at the grass patches around Race Course Road to board/align there at night,
{edit} rather than board/align the buses along the roads and cause obstruction.{/edit}).
ur views?

ps. is it true that the transport companies banned the indian workers from taking the bus services because they "flood" the bus full and are very rowdy?
