SBC has observed that the passenger load in the Toa Payoh Lor 8 and Kim Keat region is too much for SBS Transit's Service 238 to handle. The company has decided to introduce two new trunk services from Toa Payoh Int to pass through Lor 8 and Kim Keat, and then continue the rest of the journey.
The routes are still under rigorous planning and route details are expected to be out by 20th October 2004.
We hope this would reduce the passenger loads in the Lor 8 region and also provide a link for residents there to other parts of the island.

After rigorous planning, SBC has decided to drop the original idea of having the two trunk services to start from Toa Payoh Int to pass through Lor 8 and Kim Keat, and then continue the rest of the journey.
We have decided to have the two trunk services start from YISHUN and CHOA CHU KANG and loop at Toa Payoh Lor 8/Braddell Rd then continuing back to their respective Interchange.

ROUTE AMENDMENTS TO SERVICE 757 & 773
With effect from 1st December 2004, Service 757 and 773 will ply Jln Ubi to Changi Rd instead of the present Sims Ave and Jln Eunos to Changi Rd. Therefore, B21 on Sims Ave and B04 on Changi Rd will be skipped. Any inconveniece caused is regretted.
