SINCE WHEN DOES 119 NOT OPERATE ON WEEKENDS AND PHs??Originally posted by sbs&tibs:The thing is that HGDEP have handle O405s before. That might not be the problem, my dear. And some NAC CRBs like SBS 3579D, SBS 3592P etc are running around servicing HGDEP as Training Bus if you notice.

You seriously need to slap yourself hard as 119 DOES operate on Sundays & Public Holidays. Before you even make an attempt to lecture people, take a good look at yourself first.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:Since when 119 operate on weekends and PHs?
My god! Get your facts clear my friend!Originally posted by sbs&tibs:The thing is that HGDEP have handle O405s before. That might not be the problem, my dear. And some NAC CRBs like SBS 3579D, SBS 3592P etc are running around servicing HGDEP as Training Bus if you notice.

And yes, service 119 DOES HAVE ONE PERMANENT VO3X in its fleet. As for rego, check it out yourself.

There is still no news on the status of the O500s at the moment. However, Connex has already put such buses on the road in Perth. There is no large cylinder at the rear axle for this type of vehicle.Originally posted by hseochin:So what's the latest status on those M-B O 500 LE orders ?
They still evaluating or already ordered ?
They not keen in the M-B Citaro O 530 or O 530 G ??
I do believe it's high time operators here buy 'original' complete buses instead of
mating fine-class bus-chassi with (usually) sub-standard bus bodies !
TIBS Hispano bodies is a good start in the right direction, although of course it's not exactly arrived as 'original' in true form.
Governement can & should help in the funding so that people here pay low fare but get to ride in fine class buses !
The O.530 and O.530G could be too wide for Singapore roads or the LTA. But the O.500 chasiss is pretty much identical. I am not a huge fan of the Citaro bodies, either...Originally posted by hseochin:So what's the latest status on those M-B O 500 LE orders ?

Will 285 get perm Striders from now on or will SBST move the AC Scanias to BBDEP to cover for the Mk IIs?Originally posted by 9800:On 23th May 2005. These 3 SBS buses are retired from today. SBS 1698 G, SBS 1699 D and SBS 1700 H now..

6 litres? You've got to be kidding. That is about the same size as a Dennis Dart engine!Originally posted by Yusry:If Singapore does ever get the Citaros, I hope they do not buy it with the standard 6 litre engines. From Windy's experience, their performance is absolutely pathetic. Even the Routemasters could outrun them on hill climbs.
So far I see that more MK3s are deployed on service 285.Originally posted by iveco:Will 285 get perm Striders from now on or will SBST move the AC Scanias to BBDEP to cover for the Mk IIs?
stop dreaming of having scanias in bbdep.Originally posted by iveco:Will 285 get perm Striders from now on or will SBST move the AC Scanias to BBDEP to cover for the Mk IIs?
Then what buses will JIS get when SLBP sends its NAC Mk IIs to their grave?Originally posted by service_238:stop dreaming of having scanias in bbdep.
bbdep have mk3s and mk4 striders in abundance.
