Duh. Go and check those services I mentioned, or do you want me to quote each service?Originally posted by kuekj:i mean fare stages, not routes..
Another theory is that the 2 directions served the same stop, not to confuse commuters... As for Sv 160, it is due to the free transferOriginally posted by service_238:From personal opinion...
I deduce that the continuous farestage for 155 in macpherson estate is to give those guy living in the estate that from anywhere in the estate, u will pay the same to anywhere else along the 155 route. hence peeps need not walk a bus stop down or up just to save 0.5 stage or 20 cents in fares.
Just think that Macpherson estate as one big bus stop instead of 8 bus stops and u get the picture>
For Sv 112, I think it is because of the $0.63 fare band as wellOriginally posted by SBS9816E:Reasons of having such fare stages:
1. Bus Stops are within the 0.8 km of distance b/w one stage to another.
2. Cases like 112, 101, and 155 - Same places within the particular range of distance b/w a stage.
But distOriginally posted by medicheng:or is it possible it is calculated in term of radius?
They wun admit it, because of 'face'... They will change it 'secrectly'Originally posted by tranquilice:Friday 12 Nov Shin Min Daily News. Reply from ComfortDelgro Group PRO Tammy Tan.
The reply states that it costs the same fare ($0.83) using ezlink cards, from Toa Payoh interchange to bus stop B09 (before Davidson Rd) along MacPherson Rd by either services 8 or 90.
The fact: It costs $0.83 by service 8, $1.03 by service 90, from Toa Payoh interchange to the above-mentioned bus stop.![]()
