and i chose this. but !!! i havent earn any $$$! and i am suffering the conquences!!! not fair. damn i should have chosen the other option.
when given event, besides the stated effects will it have other influence? because i only get -$2 income and -2 happiness.
so if there is 2 options, 1 positive 1 negative, one should always choose the positive regardless of what it says right? -
I'm sorry I'm not able to help on the Events thingy..
Tried to look for help topics over at CNforums but can't find one, though I was sure i saw smt like tt before..
I myself have never experienced events before.. Then again, I am holding back on collecting taxes to get the interests!
And like fallin said, perhaps you can wait till the event is over.

In reference to events, happiness = money. Each happiness point is the equivalent of about $2 income. so you take a +$2 boost but lose $4 dollars from the happiness.
I recommend keeping the happiness bonus in mind and getting out a calculator before you select an option for events. Sometimes both options are bad, but one won't be AS bad as the other. -
Rejected, bout that 150 troops I lent you. I think no need to return bah. Firstly, I think I need the aid slot more than I need the troops then your nation kena whack until liddat I think that 1.8k better spent for yourself.

his alliance didn't beef him up enough for war b4 sending him to battle
at least he got out in one piece
