Then, I do tech trading to GET MORE MONEY.
Key:
1) Join an alliance that offers you SOME kind of money(aid).
GUN, GPA, TPF are some of the alliances mentioned in this forum.

For GUN, ask members like fallin, and other people here.
For GPA, ask Kenashi.
2) Spend ALMOST all your money on INFRA.
Infra will build up citizen population. Increse in citizen population leads to more tax money.
3) Do tech trading.
It allows you to earn some money rather quickly.

my tax rate is at 10%. i'm thinking of rising it but what do i have to balance with the rising tax rate?
i'm thinking of selling some of my land because my population is 60.68/mile, which is quite sparse so i think my people could live with a smaller land, lol. besides, the lands are growing and i could now sell them for 300/mile with my current trade.
if only the price of land follows market trend like the price will go up and down according to demand by players. it'd be so cool. -

tax rate should be at least 16% since it has the same effect on happiness as 10% just play around with the tax rate until u find one that give u the most tax income -
