New to bikes

  I am new to bikes, so I wish to know what are the different types of bikes available, how do you guys classified them and the brands of bikes available in Singapore, or is there any websites i can learn about them?

  Class 2b = up to 201cc
  Class 2a = 201cc to 401cc
  Class 2 = 401cc onwards
  
  There are many types of bikes.
  
  Most young people like to ride sportsbikes, like SP, Kips, TZM... Those are bikes have fairings, centre of gravity is front of the bike.
  
  For the Harley Davidson kinda bikes, like Phantom, Steed, Shadow, Drag Star those are called custom bikes. They're heavy, harder to turn but comfortable. Centre of gravity is behind.
  
  Then you have naked bikes, like Super 4, Cagiva Planet... They look like generic bikes, centre of gravity nearer to the centre of the bike.
  
  For long distance, you have tourers. Goldwing, ST11,... Those bikes are very comfortable to ride, have lots of storage space but isn't suitable for city roads. So get this if you like riding up Malaysia/Thailand.
  
  Here you can find scramblers too, the only name i hear most about scramblers is KTM (Pardon my ignorance). They are designed to handle abuse, dirt and grime, a very robust bike. They have good pickup but not suitable for long distances.
  
  Skippers are scooters, but look modern. Look at bikes like X9, Silverwing... Aprilia offer skippers too!
  
  Scooters, look at the vespa, retro and classy. Fit for the ladies.

  Actually, Class 2B is for motorcycles not exceeding 200cc and Class 2A is 201 to 400cc.
