hi all....this post is active again after a few month cos i really want to take the chance to warn newbies like me about this same fucking mother sucking shop!!!

my case as below..
i wanted to get an sp....go down there personally to ask him the price.that stupid AH SWEE(shit water) he told me $5800...
i was like wow...so cheap..somemore include first party insurance.i ask the whole motorshop in alexender..already..all quote me $6500-7000...
so i order from him loh...though i found a good deal....but he ask me to wait...call back few days later cos stock not here yet...
i did as i was told until for around two weeks i get sick and tired and calling him and he keep telling me "wed"..wed i call him "fri"..fri i call then "mon"...that kind of stuff
so i told him i dont want to bother him and pls call me back when the bike come....he say ok and pretend to take down my no.....I EVEN OFFER TO PUT MY DEPOSIT($1000) FIRST COS I KNOW THAT THE BIKE WILL BE GONE IF I DID NOT PLACE ANY DEPOSIT...BUT HE SAY WAIT TILL BIKE COME FIRST THEN SAY!!but here come the best part!!
I ask my gf to call him and pretend she want to buy SP TOO and he told her that same old stuff...until the day when the bike really come......
HE DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL ME OR MY GF...I THINK HE WILL JUST SELL TO ANY FATHER MOTHER SON WHO PAY HIM ON THE SPOT!!
as i was in poly so i ask my gf to call him almost everyday to check ....on the day THE BIKE COME,HE TOLD MY GF ONLY COME THREE SP,TWO SOLD LEFT ONE....MY GF TOLD HIM TO RESERVE AND SHE WILL COME NOW TO PAY AND RESERVE THE BIKE...SHE EVEN TAKE THE EFFORT TO TAKE A CAD THERE .FEW MINUTES SHE CALL BACK TO ENSURE,THE SHIT WATER AH SWEE TOLD HER ITS SOLD...MY GF SO SAD THAT SHE CRIED...HE DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL BACK TO INFORM ITS SOLD
1.AT LEAST HE SHOULD CALL US TO INFORM US WHEN THE BIKE COME...HE NEVER.....
2.HE SHOULD CALL US TO TELL US THAT THE BIKE IS SOLD SO THAT MY GF NO NEED TO WASTE $ AND TIME TO RUSH DOWN...SHE PREPARING EXAM SOMEMORE... MY GF CRIED COS SHE FEEL THAT OUR HOPE FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS IS GONE AND SHE COULD NOT SECURE THE BIKE....
DAMN THAT AH SWEE SHIT WATER....DRINK SHIT WATER EAT SHIT MAN....MAKE MY BELOVED GF CRY...REALLY FEEL LIKE BURNING HIS SHOP!!!!!!
i feel that ppl like him got no trust at all...buy new bike no warrenty no free gift...when the stock come dont know,come already never inform ppl just sold to any fucker who visit his shop and pay him...
i want to pay deposit cos i know he "talk "money only, then he told me bike come then say....bike come sold to other fucker!!!
i was like...what the fuck he want loh??
1.pay him $ to secure the bike...he dont want
2.promise to call back when bike come but didnt
3.promise my gf to keep the bike for her while she rush down to pay deposit but he sold it to another fucker
any way i buy my bike at alxender already..told the boss there my encounter and he told me that HE is the one who supply him the bikes..
then i ask the boss how come shit water can sell me $5800 full package inclusive insurance wherelse his machine price is $5800,add insurance everything around 6.5k
he told me no such price la and at the moment i was like.....lucky i found u(the boss)and i did not give shit water any deposit... ;-)
ALL NEWBIES...THIS IS A BLACK SHOP TESTED BY A NEWBIES MYSELF.....IT HAD CAUSE ME AND MY GF SLEEPLESS NIGHT AND FALSE HOPE FOR TWO WEEKS......

er.. there may be a lot of bad comments about ah swee. once i asked about a honda varadero, exactly the same case. but i wasn't very keen on the bike to start with. i believe it's a stunt so that you'll buy his old SPs.
but with that said, i think he offers a good reloan. 7%, 24 months payback. but it dpds on bike and plate. if you plan to use his services, make sure you be persistent and ask every tiny detail.

lemme try on the push-start/battery thing:
the batt is charged by the alternator ("magneto" + "coil" or whatever they call it), which is connected on the crank. AC current is converted to DC to charge the battery and power the CDI.
if your bike is the kick-start type, each action you kick is actually charging that battery for that tiny bit and powering the CDI for generating that spark. once your engine kicks into life, it's a self-sustaining process. however, to ensure that your other stuff like lights and indicators can work, a battery is needed to power it. why? because the power generated by the alternator is dependent on the engine rev. the purpose of the batt is to store extra current when the alternator produces more electricity than the bike requires, and this is used when you turn on the lights etc.
electric start uses a starter motor to start. so if your batt goes completely flat, you're screwed. if you press the starter and nothing happens, could be that either the battery is flat or the starter motor is screwed. test out the battery first. if the battery is fine (lights etc), can still push start and head for your mechanic to service the starter motor (or starter carbon or electricals).

er, btw, with the recent spate of my postings, the more technical ones, i hope everyone won't misunderstand me as acting like a know-all or laojiao. my knowledge is damn limited and i'm still learning also.
just hope to clear up some doubts, by sharing what i learnt from others with everyone here, so that when something goes wrong with your bike (touchwood), you can at least do a preliminary check, identify the problem, and not kenna chop by bike-shop who ask you to replace every damn thing. got one case when someone i know was asked to overhaul engine just because his piston rings were loose. something like that lar...

i don't have that eloquent a way with words as you do regarding technical stuff like this, most of the stuff i learnt is through using my eyes to see, and my head to think it through. some times, these things are really just common sense.
