Recently, while paying for my road tax and insurance for my motorcycle, I was told of this Personal Accident Insurance by NTUC Income.
The cheapest plan has a premium of $40, (motorcyclist + 25%), therefore $50 per year for riders.
Coverage is for all accidents, whether OTR or at home, office or overseas.
Death and Permanent disability: $50,000
Medical Expenses: $1,000.
You need to pay more if you want more or higher benefits.
Premium burn if there if there are no claims.
Its a cheap and simple cover, so I just throw $50 there.
You might want to note that you're already covered for personal accident if you have bought comprehensive coverage for your bike.
Furthermore, if you have a life insurance plan, buying another PA cover is just, IMHO a waste of money.
Thanks!
PA is not for additional coverage over what one already has.
It is not a must have.
Its cheap.
You decide for yourself.
I think 3rd party + $50 is still cheaper than comprehensive.
Especially for 2Bs.
But again to each his own.
