Once again, thnx to Money&Power for your comments. I presume u're working too and own a German car?
Well, though my occupation does not need me to pick up clients that regularly. I do go for meetings and seminars with overseas clients regularly. Occasionally, I would need to 'entertain' clients (of course that would be very rare unless that client has a million dollar contract for us!).
I would definitely agree that Mercedes HAS the power and prestige. An Audi looks nice too (esp. the A6). Personal choice would be a BMW.

However, Japanese cars are made mostly for normal road driving (prob. some racing too) but for client pick-up it would not be as impressive looking as a German car (no insult to Jap car lovers!).
Went down to Performance Motors and checked out the M5.

After hearing the maintainence costs, I HAD my doubts about it too. But the salesperson was making it sound like NOTHING to me. Probably first impressions ARE decieving.
Had a look at other cars too, COE prices up again... Probably have to wait until around March/April or until COE prices have fallen b4 I get my new car. Meanwhile have to see around first. However, I wouldn't delete a Jap car from my possibility list. Maintainance costs lower than a German one.
Thnx guys!
