Hi DaKaR and all the others here, nice to have a specific forum on cars.
I'm interested in getting some bolt on mods for my Integra. Does anyone know of any good mechanics in Singapore. The bolt ons I'm keen on are cold air intake, exhaust and header. There is a race mechanic I have discussions with, but every time he gets near my car, he wants to do something major like changing the intake manifold or cams. I don't trust him to stop at adding just the bolt ons if I drop the car off at his workshop.
Those of you who own performance cars looking for a place to run your car might consider the Pasir Gudang track in Johor. -

Yar - he's a real enthusiast and doesn't ffel he's done justice to his customers unless he's slapped on at least 50HP more on your car. He once tried to convince my cousin to swap the engine of his 1993 Lancer for a spare Lancer EVO IV engine he had in his workshop. He's also a friend and that makes it very hard to yell at him when he does crazy things. -

Thanks DaKaR. Not enough cash to buy the really high ends, so I play around a bit with modifications - nothing major enough to make my car illegal for street driving though, or to void my insurance.

u may want to try Garage-R @ sembawang rd? they have a very good reputation with honda cars.
iceman cold air intakes has the best performance gains but will not be able to use it when the weather gets wet cuz the intake is placed well below the car.
u may like to try HKS super drager exhaust...low noise and very good low and mid range gains...but very ex =) -

Eh, I also looking to mod my car; JDM Civic bullet. It's in Australia lah, and the shit thing is my friends who're into car mods all are so freaking loaded they don't bother shopping around for cheap prices. Scary.
Anyway, I was recommended the following cheap bolt-ons:
~ open-element air filter
~ AFC + maybe chip up (not so cheap loh)
These are way cheaper than most exhaust related mods e.g. headers and piping like you've suggested.
I'm also looking for an exhaust for my car. Dunno lah. Super drager you think? Then I can stick beng HKS stickers.

I don't know too much about the internals and workings of cars. But what I do know about mods for Honda is that you can't go wrong with after market MUGEN kits. For those of you who don't know, Mugen is an extension of Honda which specialises in performance aftermarket kits for Honda vehicles.
Go Mugen. Anything which bears the Mugen name is always good.
Mugen and Spoon produces the best Honda mods around and they're both Japanese.
By the way TheAnswer, which state in Australia are you in?

Well, happen to have the chance to sit into a Honda S2000 recently, and mine, the feeling is so great........ haha, too bad no key to start the engine.
